I have been doing a bit of work here and there, and I just can't seem to figure out if there is an anchoring option in Gamez Forums. If there isn't, it would be a good idea to include a BB code that allows it. This option would be of great help to those that wish to make guides and include an index for it, as the index could link directly to the refferred section, making it easier for the reader to find what they need.

Here's a small post on how to include said code, but I don't know if it's that simple in these forums. I guess it is, since it is built using VBulletin, right?

If there is already a way to use Anchoring while posting in these forums, can someone please explain to me how to do it? Thanks!

To answer your question no it is not possible for regular users to create anchors for linking.

There isn't really much demand for the feature as it's not a particularly useful tool unless you're making massive threads so we haven't really considered implementing it.

Thanks for your fast reply! =)

I was thinking it would be a great implementation for those who would be interested in making big guides that would need indexing to facilitate navigation. It would be great if the Gamez Staff considered implementing this for the rest of the community, if possible. Just a small suggestion that at least I would find useful if implemented (you'll find out why soon =P). Thanks for your time anyways, and once again, thanks for the fast reply ^^!

Yeah I'll give it some thought, anchors are certainly useful assuming people use them.

Implementing it is simple enough - it's just basic HTML so BBCode would be fine. I can see it being useful sometime during May so we might do it then.
