Any massive lag?

I'm not sure how many people of you have accounts with the official BDO client, but let me just say that, at least recently, the lag has been *ungodly*. This is a laptop (yes, a laptop!) that can play FFXV at Ultra-high levels without a frame drop, as well as other intensive pc games.

With a recent event on the BDO game, as well as the implication of 6 power-leveling servers for 30 days, the amount of players is insane. Which is why I sought a Private Server anyway, Less Players may offer less-lag.

But is this really the case? Has anyone here experienced the amount of lag players in BDO have been experiencing on the Steam client, or is it better?

No PC spec talks needed, as this is purely an information-gathering question, not a request for any sort of assistance. If it were, I wouldn't post this topic in this forum section.

 

Well, it is a matter of many different things really, location in comparison to where the servers are located, your internet connection speed and the internet provider you are using. So all in all it is a difficult question, the easiest answer you can get is: "download the GamezBD client version and try it out for yourself"
