Anyone using battleping?

Ok so i got tired of my ping jumping from 250 to 500 and more... and saw that there is solution with program battleping, and wanted to ask how does that program work? I read trough website that it supports aion, but when u start it do u have to start aion the offical server? i dont get it? and is it really worth paying for it?
I know there is few solutions on forums how to lower ping, tho i m not really the "computergenious" so i dont really dare to fallow those instructions, even tho they are very well written... Yea i know i m computernoobie

from 600-800ms

it becomes 255+ms

but got DC after an hour

yea i read that guide but still its way to complicated for me.. i need something easy that doesnt involve manual changing bunch of stuff... i will prolly mess something up and worst is wouldnt know how to go back.

 

I'm using it and paying it.. its really worth. Specially when you get into a zerg, cause your ping doesn't increases much. Mine was 310 now with BP its 180. When I get into zergs it gets a max of 230.

 

bah im a sorc, i got 400 -600 ping , i got to be governor and i pwn ppl with 15 ping ( so they say ) so i dun really need battle ping although many ppl use it on sins and rangers they seem to need it, sorcs cast so aparently it isnt neseesary.

 

If you're in the US, it probably won't help.
If you're overseas, it very well might.

 

yes i suppose having 3k ping will help that program after all thats the reason most of my old friends from aion stoped playing permanently, they rage quit cuz of ping.

 

you should try wtfast rather than bp.. same price but better ping youve got..

 

i'm usign BP even though i get DC every hour but it's worth it cuse without it i got 500ms+ and with is i got 200-250ms and i can kill ppl while without BP i cant even touch them lol

 

yeah at the end playing gamez is never fair cuz ppl either got better pc or better internet or better char its just a little part thats ppl's skills.

 

I began to use BP a month ago and it brought my ping down from 500ms+ to 210ms and for the past few days my ping is around the 170ms with BP on. without is is still over 300ms.

I paid for it because it's worth it. You can use the Trial but it's annoying if you forget to reconnect every 1 hour.

 

Gah teach me how to use BP plox>< At least I can pvp for an hour. With my ping Im just always crafting and PvEing..

 

- Go to BATTLEPING helps lower ping in World of Warcraft, Aion, Rift, Lineage 2. Reduce WOW lag! and download the application then install it
- Register an account on the website.
- After you install it, you will need to restart your PC.
- Run the application before you start Aion. Choose a server (Texas 1, 2, 3, 4, etc...) and click ping until you find one that's best for you
- Click on "Game Connection" and then choose either the first or the last option.
- You'll see a command prompt window which will say you're either registered or trial (1 hour per disconnect)
- Launch your game and enjoy lower pings.

Just keep in mind that if you're PvPing, it sucks if you DC because your time expired. that's why I paid for a whole month, so I don't suffer from the disconnections.

 

its ok if u dc with it.. my game crashes latly and most of the time it crashes i die even tho i was in a safe zone not sure how it happens..
