    Are you able to exchange them for AP? All the NPC's I went to didn't work.

    No. Npcs have been disabled many years ago, due to the 15x Abyss Points Rate. All battlegrounds are rewarded with the AP / Exp / Ts / Omega / Essence core solution and many more.
