Assault on Balaurea Gets a Release Date

NCsoft has officially announced a release date for Aion: Assault on Balaurea,the 2.0 patch.

North Americans and Europeans can digitally get the expansion on September 7, 2010.

North Americans who want a boxed copy will also be able to snag it from stores on September 7, but Europeans will have to wait until September 10th. The boxed copy features exclusive in-game pets.

"In Aion: Assault on Balaurea, the exciting new chapter of Aion, characters have the ability to align together to launch massive counter assaults against the invading Balaur on their homeland while experiencing new and updated instances and zones, an increased level cap, new weapons and items, new skills and added flight mechanics. Characters will not be alone as they explore the new areas, as Aion introduces functional pets equipped with in-game benefits."​

Exciting times for the game world! Sorry kids, but September just isn't that far away. It'll be here before we know it.
