    Massive update(s) and changes to the game core itself. Map changes, removals, additions, new monsters and zones, new gear and stats, character growth changes as well as new in-game features and mechanics.

    You'll need to read the 6.0, 6.2 and 6.5 update release notes. I would advise you read the 5.0 update release notes as well it'll somewhat allow you to know what happened in that update, which was huge since it brought about new level cap and changes to the storyline.
