[Beginner] Silver Making & General Information

Hey Guy!

I was recently told about this server and I'm planning on playing later in the week. I was just wondering what would be the most effective methods of making silver at the start of the game? For instance, is gathering useful in getting sharps etc., or should I work on contribution for a worker empire like in retail BDO? Any information on making silver at the start of the game would be useful and appreciated.

If by the off chance something like this has been posted or answered, a quick point in the right direction would be perfect.
