This weekend we are going to be hosting a giveaway party firework event to make the last beta days memorial before release, everyone can join along in the fun starting on saturday and sunday at 12PM Eastern Time. obviously all given stuff would be rested - else people would have start with way too "op" items

 

At launch, everything will be reset. This includes all rare items, as stated by @Noyah. That being said, the mount is afterward, as stated above, so isn't included in the wipe.
