BIG Latency Issue

    i figured id give 'lowering my ping' a try. ive used a few of the guides ive found on this forum and everywhere else and somehow my ping just keeps getting worse and worse. i went from a steady 20-40 ping to capping at 450s...this is beyond upsetting. ive uninstalled leatrix, reset my regedit back to the original state and still i have the same horrible ping. i wont even bother with that wtfast program if it makes you pay for good results. id rather stay online in 1000 ping than dc every 20 minutes... anyone have any ideas of how to fix this nightmare? helpful comments appreciated

    Anyways i think u need reinstall windows cause those files are still in ur registry :p

    If you feel technically inclined enough, you could run a TCP Optimizer, there's quite a few available with some research. I had the same issues with spiking ping over 100s, and I used it and it brings me to a constant 31ms on Siel.

    I don't understand why you would be trying to drop your ping if you were already fluctuating between 20-40.

    Try using this to clean your registries and cookies out of your PC, that might fix any problems that you were having. If that still doesn't work and you are having some serious issues, do a System Restore back to when you didn't install anything in.
