Cannot replace old password

i had a problem with the connectivity i kept getting dropped from the game so someone suggested i restart my router, modem, computer and change my password but i couldn't replace my password because im not getting an email to verify my account. What im asking is where do i find the information on my account so i could know if its even sending an email to the correct one.
