cant find the support forum...so ill ask here

OK i used to play a different aion server (wont name it) and it bored me so i hoped on here....

i have the right client and its set to North America but after installing the Gamez Aion files i go to launch it and comes up with this lovely error "This program is unavailable in your country." its all set right and im sure its all installed correctly but i just cant get in the game..... any idea anyone ?

I live in the UK and have a high spec PC so dont think its a PC problem...

 

just try to repair it, did the trick for me on my laptop when i was getting the error. Even tho it took me like 3 tries of repairing it, in the end it started to dl some files and repaired the client and i was able to log back in. woot

 

tried that still no joy im currently redownloading the Aion1.9.0.1 files from gamershell, any other ideas that may work?

 

Open your nclauncher, go to "File - Settings - Advanced Tab"

Make sure both of those are North America and English.

 

thats always the first thing i do when i first installed aion, thats not the problem tho its set to NA and english just wont let me in T_T

i hate NCSoft some times...... it updated itself to 2.0.0.3 when i repaired it.......



is there anyway to downgrade my client without having to download it again ?

 

try to search the forum, a gm once posted a fix for those who updated to 2.0

 

You have to change your country to North America. I forget how to do this, so I'll dig deep in the forums for you. Or is this just a 2.0 download issue?

Have you taken a look at this thread for your 2.0 troubles?

 

its all setup right its now that my client is 2.0.0.3..... im trying the downgrade thing as im downloading the torrent of the 1.9.0.1 full install just hope this works because it would be an epic pain in the ass if it dont T_T

EDIT: i love ncsoft i really do there are no previous versions of my client because it just went all the way to 2.0.0.3.... fail think ill have to wait on the torrent to finish and try that out

 

No there is no way of downgrading it, unless u folow Adieu's guide and dl aion 1.9 version of Gamershell or something. But if u dont want to do that u can replace your bin32 with this one

and u will be able to log ingame, but u will have a log of graphics issues. U will have a hard time distinguishing asmos from elyos, since the enemy doesnt appear as a red block on the minimap, they all look the same. The choice is yours.

 

well ill try replacing my bin32 file for now so i can see if i can get in the game, so i can get my range started,...

i hope this works because im just gutted tbh, the old server i was playing on i have full elder set with +15 crit and a taha bow +15 and all crit... and i got banned for standing up to a GM.....


EDIT: SHOCK HORROR replacing bin32 WORKS! so it is my client thats pooped lol o well 40min till torrents done
