chanter question

i haven't been seeing alot of chanters going for max dps lately. whats with every chanter trying to be a wannabe cleric T.T? They have like 3 attack skills when they go defensive in adv stigma skills

the question basically is why is every chanter going supportive? and why arent there more dps chanters?

Why arn't there more dps chanter?? LOL have you met me >> apparently not. I'm hardly a support class, and when it's needed of me I'm like wait . . wut!? :whistling:

I have a cleric btw, and to me it's slow as crap to heal anything or anybody, I like doing damage thanks.

 

well chanters are 50%dps, and 50% support.
depends on how you fit to the group.

chanter has mantras and party heal (word of life) which is DOT and helpful to the party. and of course those "Word of" Buffs...
DPS if a cleric is present and you as a chanter can stun anyone it sees or DPS as much as you want.. but bear in mind. you are the only one who has the DOT heal and mantras and def buffs.

it really depends how you play and how you fitted in a group in a given situation.

 

i play a chanter as my main now also, i do throw some heals when needed.... but its all about the dps

you referring to Magic Resist chanters ?
if yes, then id doubt it... but if you are rich and prepare a secondary set with that stacked stones... you can try. hehehe..

 

im rich and i wouldn't do it!1 char is is enough to sink the ridiculous prices attached to this game into when it is poorly managed and not kept up to date with hardware and tech issues.

kinda boring right, when server's down. but hey .. at least from time to time., we can do other things for a short time hehehehe

i think he is asking why does the chanter has only 3 offensive skill..if you reach lvl 55 you will have more attacking skills

 

yah quiet true, coz if you think about it, chanters have heals in return of massive and numerous damage skills.
if chanters get those parry enabled skills as a none situational skills., then chanters will become more overpowered than they are now.

 

+1 for being more overpowered :lol:

 

i know.. im a chanter myself. and its really irritating that the parry enabled skills doesnt always light up during pvp. or if it does.. you are either low in HP or stunned, stumbled or well..... RIP
