chat.log

Does anyone know how to get the chat.log files working here? With the 2.5 update NCSoft decided to disable the system.ovr file. I know that I can get the chat.log file working in the retail client by adding
-DEVMODE "g_chatlog 1"
in the extra command line box, but I don't know of a way to get it working here.

Can anyone give me a hand?

 

i dont have pc near me right now but i think i can help yougo in your aion folder and open the system.ovr file and add this in a newline

it should work...

 

2.5 doesnt use system.ovr u need to use the .BAT launcher that is found in other threads. If ur using the .BAT that forces it to use system.ovr then it will work.

 

thanks, I found the gamezAION.bat file and an old system.ovr but I'm still not getting a chat.log file dispite having g_chatlog = "1" in my system.ovr file.

any help would be appreciated.

Also, you need to be on 2.5.0.3, not 2.5.0.4, as DEVMODE is disabled there. Go on the Guides section to find how to downgrade, if you are 2.5.0.4.
