Coding Help?!

yeah as the title says, i'd like to learn about coding.. maybe just the basics for now..

i know some people here are experts even geniuse's and im kneeling on both my barely connected knees that you:

• gimme important links which could be a good starting point for noobs like me
• gimme your own personal tips and hints
• gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme ♫♪ lol
• or just anything that comes to mind but please stay relevant to topic T_T

WHY?!
well, i just envy the older generation of computer users who treat coding like their own language.. i grew up at a time where computer teachers just teach "what is a mouse" "what is a monitor" etc.

btw i did not use the forum's search function, kindly refer me to threads related to this topic if u may? XD
you might as well say enroll yourself to a coding class but i dont have extra time for that, i just thought maybe i could learn it at my free time ? not imposibru right ?
