i would suggest using a quad core if you can get one

but if youre asking for whole computer specs to run aion without any lag, i would have no less than these specs:

    quad core processor

    4gb ram

512mb+ gfx card, one decent enough to not lag

    a good internet connection.

    that to start off with

well 1 bg of ram 600-800mhz,
256-512mbs of video card only 8600-8800 or 9600+
these type would be so awesome for aion it woulda lagg less lol

Dude 1 is enough if he wants a PC to PvE.
If he wants to PvP Minimum requirements are never enough ^_-

    Behind you!

that is the funniest comment I've read in years, Aion is not CPU intensive. its graphics card and ram intensive. a half decent Core2Duo is plenty, hell a P4 3gig is plenty.

Ram speed, hard drive speed and Net speed is more important factors.

Anyway if anyone is in doubt about if they can run it. go here download the active x when it asks you and select Aion: Assault onBalaurea and select can i run it.

Sadly to say that u need 2GB of ram.. Aion already eats 1.50 to 1.60ish of ram.
For Proci's Dual Core is still good and for gxf card Nvidia 8500 to 9800 cards are still good though 512mb or such.

And yea a Good net connection for good Ping/MS.

U can have the biggest and newest Alienware PC or whatever. But when u have a crappie connection, u will still lag and have delays. And even if u have a realy good connection. if your pretty far away from the actually server, u will still have lag and delays sometimes.

Ty everyone for your replies. I've just got one more question. Which is better?

Intel Quad Core or Intel i7?

Yes a quad core would be great running Aion, but u have to think, Does Aion support Multi Core?? Hmmm I wonder. So Your question is what pc is good to run Aion? Well since u just need a PC to run Aion and daily stuff, you dont need a power pc. Dual Core 2.0-2.6 should be enough at least 1gig ram, 9series card Nvidia or 4Series ATi card is good. As for Lag It dont mater how strong your PC is and how fast your internect connection is, There will always be lag due to heavy conjuction of the internet or heavy rendering from your Video card
