Connection Issue

A friend of mine has been playing Aion for a few days now and is having a hard time connecting to the game again. He tried to repair it after the first error but here are the errors he's getting:

"an Access Violation in module CrySystem.dll at 001b:05bb2aeb.
exception handler called in the AION Server."

and after trying to repair:

"Error Code: 58 (FileGroupApplicationErrorRollbackNotAttempted):

Errors occurred while applying the patch,

and a rollback was not attempted.

The product is likely in an inconsistent state and should be repaired or reinstalled.

The patch application errors are as follows:

Acceso denegado. (Excepción de HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED))"

Anyone know how to fix either of these errors? I think the first one is his item.pak but maybe not so I thought I'd post both.

if your friend repaired the client, it's probably on 3.0... -.-

or 2.7.0.2 something...

 

Exactly, that means he went too far on updating his client.

actually the rollback not attempted error is caused by user account control on vista/win 7, he just has to disable it in control panels -> users/user accounts -> UAC and restart his pc, then he will be able to repair just fine

this bs restricts ur access, causes lots of issues with aion. its just an annoyance from microsoft, first thing i turn off when i get on a pc

 

Thanks. Now he's having a Not avalible in your country issue. Told him to re-repair with NA set up.
