Connection Issue

After many tries, always getting the same messages, either "server updating", when using the GamezAION launcher that comes with the downloaded version (https://forum.gameznetwork.com/threads/gamezaion-v4-6-download-mirrors-client.239448/), Or "server offline" when using the Aion64.bat, I decided to try something else.

Yes, I have already checked the forum for connection issues (around 200 results), and unfortunately I was unable to find anything that applied to my situation. I also did check the "errors and solutions" section more than once.

Then I went to the GamezAION webpage (https://gamezaion.com/), and downloaded the Launcher directly from there. Eventhough it says AION 7.0 (but it is 4.6 now), it did seem to work, as it was updating things...however, according to the "errors and solutions" section, the game size should be around 27Gb, and mine is now 33Gb.

After running the game once, with the GamezAION webpage Launcher, the game returned another error message.

So far, nothing in the "errors and solutions" section has helped, and there are no similar incidents, that I could find, in the AionZ-forum.

Could anyone please add a download link, that has the correct version, and has all the files needed, to connect to the server and try the game out?

The one supplied didn't work, and the one from the webpage didn't work. Might be corrupted data...no idea.

I am confused. What bat file are you talking about? The launcher requires a username and password to log in-- no other file will run the game.

The site was updated in the new launcher when the server was launched. There is no sign of 7.0 and the fact that you mentioned it makes me believe that you may have a mix of old and new files.

The thread you are talking about is outdated and definitely not useful for current issues. I would recommend deleting the entire folder and downloading the game from scratch. There is no point in looking for solutions to problems that should not exist.

Thank you so much for clearing this up. I was quite confused, especially since there were so many unhelpful threads, and links.

Well the version I downloaded, with the links supplied by the forum, had a GamezAion Launcher, as well as two .bat files, named Aion32.bat and Aion64.bat. The two .bat files both lead to the "official"-login screen, where you enter your account info, but afterwards the game says that the servers are offline. While using the GamezAion Launcher, I kept getting the message that the server was updating.

So yeah, I am pretty sure, that you are right. I probably got the wrong version from one of the links, in the forums' download game section.

Just wanted to say, that in the Launcher downloaded from the website, the version 7.0 did appear. Now it might very well have something to do with the old GamezAION download link, and the fact that it was pointing towards the old game version 7.0, however it might also just be a small mistake in the launcher itself, where a tiny piece of text is showing the wrong version.

I will shortly find out, as I have now -as you suggested- downloaded the link you supplied, and deleted all the other files. Will unpack and give it a run soon enough.

I do thank you though, just felt like trying the game out again. Haven't tried it since it was released, so many years ago

 

Again, this is impossible and I myself downloaded the launcher as soon as I responded to your thread just to make sure there is nothing wrong with it. The launcher and everything else was updated to 4.6 the moment the server was launched.
I can only assume that you got the outdated launcher along with the old files.
