Craft Event Opinion

It's amazing... Craft Event: 18-22 (4 days) and we have 3 MINUTES to make an e-mail? WTF!?

- How is possible that event need HOURS to finish craft and you give 3 minutes ONLY to make an e-mail when events have 4 days time?

- How is possible that event information WAS CHANGE at last hour in a closed thread??

- How is possible that u make winners the first 100 e-mails (100 mail = full amilbox) and the rest of people dont have chance to win tough ppl are online at that moment? Log more chars to receive e-mails, accept whisp or go any zone in that moment to make that...


GZ for the FAIL event, I lose 2 days of my game life to make 30 useless items. THANKS.

That's not the point. 4 days of event and we have 3 minutes to make an e-mail???? WTF!? Are we crazy? I need 1-2minutes to open Aion client any days... I can lose 2 game works days to that short time. 4 days = 3 minutes... OOOOKKKK!!

To that I add that I asked the GM and then she told me it was actually 2 minutes that counted which is why I didn't make it. If you announce 3 make it 3 minutes not 60 seconds. It's a crafting event not who has the fastest internet connection.

How is it timed anyway? Aion mail doesn't have a time of when it was received.

You should put a GMT time converter on the forum or website, couse i wasn't sure the time on my country, so i asked on the main event thread, but I had no answer.

Cant believe the time we had to spend on crafting the hole items just to have the minimum chance to deliver an e-mail in 3 minutes.

 

We needed to make a time frame, I personally got over 100 PM's(and my mail could only hold 100 mails). You just need to bed quick and keep ur items. It might be done again.

It actually was 3 minutes. It was going to be 2 minutes beforehand but we change before the events.

This was only a beta so chill, bryne still needs to tweek it a bit.

Just be glad your getting new events done....Now im off to bed. Almost 4am -.-

 

If you had said the first 100 people will get items this wouldn't have happened. But I am well aware I sent my mail before the ok that's enough guys announcement. You bit more than you could chew and probably lost some users because of it.

Hopefully you won't do that in non-beta events, because changing rules and conditions to your favor is just low.

 

If I need HOURS to try to finish the event and have one chance to make an e-mail in that short space time isnt fair.


If your mailbox is full with that time, make other option:

All people with items crafts go to XXX zone

All people with items crafts whisp and teleport them


Easier, fair.

theres no next chance and Bryne didn't even give Lumiel a chance , and we people that crafted is just doing it for nothing and waste a few days of time. You siel ppl shouldnt be complaining, you got your chance, we on Lumiel didnt.

 

Lumiel players waited 12 hours just to know that the deadline for Lumiel was wrong and we are out of the event. This doesn't seems a BETA error to me, is't just unfair

so I get angry, and sent the 8 sets event by calling the mail in the game.
tudester told me they were taking the items one by one and now I see it is all lies.

 

OK so SAM Zodake logged on Lumiel a little while ago and announced the HGM Work Order event for elyos side. He said that Asanka already did the asmo side. I didn't see anything from Asanka but I was a little tired after several hours of watching the screen lol. Congrats to everyone that won on Lumiel and great Beta event

 

It's a beta event that gave away GREAT rewards, you seriously don't think they woulda left the entrance phase open for an hour or so did you? It was said on the FIRST day that you *Need* to be there at *this* time and then you will get the instructions on what to do, if you're late, you've lost the event... Do you complain when it's 30vs30 RvR and you don't message the gm quick enough to get in? Do you make a forum post about it? Do you make a ***** fest about it? No...

The rewards for this were great, and personally I got mine, I worked hard, I made sure I was online, on my character, and luckily, I happened to be near a mailbox, even if I wasn't my return is in Teminon, mailbox right there. So... How exactly is 3 minutes way too little amount of time? If you're busy, use return, send a mail, nothing you were doing in-game was more important than this event, as is obvious by your upset posts about it...

The event is in beta, that much was obvious!! But.... It was done well enough for it I think. Personally I like how it was done 1 on 1, if everyone was put into the same area, it'd be too much spam of people complaining and wanting their's done first, hell, that's how it is in other events like duels, and those usually only have like 12 people there, imagine 50 people all *****ing and whining wanting to have their shit turned in, spamming the gm, spamming the players.... Do you think they could have left it open for an hour and seriously given like 500 people everything? You know how long that'd have taken?!

And... well honestly, if that had happened, then goodbye market on certain items... everyone was given 500 brilliant materials of each type.. that's a lot of materials going around if you figure out how many people got rewarded...

In the end, I'm happy with the event, it was run well for a beta event, and people need to just realize that. People who thought "Oh I craft 300 zeyla for a free weapon, HELL ****ING YEAH" and are then upset that they didn't even log in before the time was coming up .... oh well..

I farmed my Zeyla.
I crafted what I needed.
I was on on time...
And I got my weapon.
Pretty happy about this.
THE ONLY THING I'm unhappy about, is my girlfriend didn't get her Enraged Veille because she was sleeping. XD
It made her a little upset.
I told her that there was another chance to get it, and there wasn't...
n_n

But, nice rewards, well worth it.

 

If the HGM woulda just done what she said and had a second time also it would be alot better gm needs to admit its her fault and do the event again at a different time and make sure nothing is messed up this time

 

Honestly, It said from the START that it was a beta event.

With beta events come errors, confusion, and bugs. I got my weapon regardless, but even if I hadn't it wouldnt have been anything bad to me. For the effort, to get WHATEVER WEAPON I WANTED? Far worth it to even get the chance.

Personally, I think the reward was FAR too much for the event.

 

ya i think if it wasnt such a good reward no one would be mad about the lies the gm told us about the 2nd time

 

I think the original idea is great, but need to be developed a bit more.

- Hardest Work Orders so less people is able to complete it.
- Clear runes an clear frametimes, no modifications at the end.
- Other possibility is to get a closed list of participants. The first 200, 100 or 50 to post, whisper or so...
- More balanced prizes. I think a weapon of your choice is too large for the work orders proposed
- More comunication, so participants dont need to ask every single thing (also crear rules set from the begining will help).
- Pre sets Prizes, like bundles, easier to deploy
- If the event is so large to host it by only one staff member, schedule it with the rest of the staff.


I think a good frame of time will be announcing the event at monday, get the closed list of participants or leave open, and close it on saturday/sunday with harder work orders.

As i said the original idea is awesome, but a lot of errors happend, and some are not related to the event but to the way it was organized.

anyway... just because it was a beta event bryne have the power to fucoff the players that choise another gmt??? just sux... she need to play to be a woman not a little girl with no life thats need tho show her amazing power over players... it was like

"ouch ... my mistake ... so **** u player that choise the second hour"
