Cron Stones

Is it a bug or was it intentional that cron stones went back up to 2 mil a piece?

 

good question...also could they be lowered to 100.000 silver a piece instead?

 

IDK about 100,000 a piece 500k would allow a pen attempt or two to be actually cron-able, but 100k would be way too low.

A better solution would be to lower them back to 1 mil a piece and cut the amount of crons needed for pen attempt in half.

 

They were changed to 2 Mill a piece on official. So the patch is correct

 

yeah we were just trying to start a discussion about whether it should be lowered on our server as a special feature

 

I think Cron stones shouldn't be messed with too much imo. I am still new to this server, but if I was able to Cron my way to Pen, I would probably lose interest in the game if everything was handed to me. As it is now, getting Pen for a new player still seems like a very realistic/difficult goal and I look forward to perusing those options.

 

Absolutely part of the discussion...you (as a completely new player) might not have the same perspective as I do (or someone else for that matter), so I do understand the notion. But the facts remain that the way to PEN is through the use of Cron stones no matter how you look at it, the loss of gear enhancement level in comparison to the loss of silver through the use of Cron stones is exaggerated beyond belief.

However as you say it might not be a good idea to mess with the current formular (even for the benefit of all) it would still impact how long the smart players stick around and have fun on our servers as well as community.

I use cron stones for accessories, other than that..... nah.. I hope they lower it back to 1m though making it 100k silvers each will make the server probably boring for "some" newbies.

 

Yes but the Cron stones on here where lowered to 1 millions silver a piece this patch overwrote them back to 2 million i was asking is this was a change the devs here where going to keep or not.

 

Lower the price back , please.
TET and PEN are painfully enough to attempt as they are , making stones cost 2 mills a piece isn't great.

 

Here's something to think about...for over a year those of us that have been on this server enjoyed better drops more silver and 1/2 priced crons compared to you...now good luck catching up.

 

I mean, i'm new to the server and i really dont find getting 1 shot at mines or nagas (supposed to be for lower gears) fun. If you do, then by all means, keep getting 1 shot. For the rest of us, its hell on earth. Lul
Btw, i'm not crying. I'm progressing at a decent speed, but if we can just catch up or progress as they did a few patches ago, then by all means, why not?

 

guys, altho they doubled the price but the amount needed also cut in half, so the total price for an attempt still the same.

i checked it myself, i cant remember how much it costs exactly, but i used to crone gear before the doubled price, and few times even after the doubled, its the same price.
which is better on the other hand, you need fewer crones for an attempt now

 

You still roughly need 600 crons per V attempt though , which now means 1.2 billions of silver per try . It's a lot of silver. It simply is not worth it.
I am not sure whether the amount needed was halved or not, in absence of evidence I stand true to my thoughts...but who knows.
