Dementa for mod!

I don't usually publicly support people for staff positions (because I'm a greedy, competitive whore that doesn't like to give other people an advantage)...

but when I do..I make a new thread about them

Anyway, I know this probably won't be considered anyway, but since it'd be against the rules (and impossible) to comment in the mod apps supporting Dementa, I wanted to make a new thread just to explain why I think you guys should hire him ASAP

1) He's one of the best mods we've ever had and he's done the job several times without being a douche or leaving on bad terms.
2) He knows a lot of people. Not always in a friendly way, but he knows this community well, and he could be great for it (like he has been in the past).
3) He understands sarcasm, and knows the rules and what they mean (not what he thinks they mean) better than most.
4) He's a pretty cool guy

I can see why Alente took it over, Dementa was ex-staff at the time, and it's a lot less confusing to just have most sticky/announcement type threads made by a staff member, but I wanted to point out that Dementa originally made it because it's a perfect illustration of Dementa's commitment to being a good moderator, and it reinforces exactly what he said earlier in his application

Anyway, that's all I have to say.

I know this thread is, in essence, probably stupid, pointless and unnecessary, but I'll have it known that this is the first time I think I've ever made a thread to publicly support someone (though I have privately given recommendations) so I hope you guys will take it seriously, and take it as a sign that I fully hope we can have a moderator like Dementa again, as active and great of a mod as he was.

Also Beastie should apply again because he was a good mod too. Though he may not have left on quite so good of terms.

If it happens, it happens. Yes I know him as a mod. I even motivated him a few years ago to stop being lazy XD

I am not closing this because of any other reason than his application is being considered by me right now. But like all candidates, He is being reviewed and questioned of why he cant join and why he should join. As I know since I been around for a while (even as a regular member) that he has joined and been inactive and kicked from staff a coupe times.

Its good to have support and I bet he appreciates it. But to make this easier on making a clear and just decision with the rest of the staff, I will close this.

PS: Yes I do want him as my employee
