Dlr - tiamat nerf suggestion

    Hello! I started this thread in hopes we can get a nerf (stats lowering) on Tiamat !

    This is the 3rd week I've gone in DLR with good players sets with high MR and all needed as seen in countless forums I read about this instance. This is also the 3rd time I fail this instance!

    Reason?

    We all can agree (the ones that have been in DLR) that we've passed the first stage of the instance, the one with the orb destroying and kite + the one where we need to kill the Fissure Incarnates. That's fairly good in terms of stats and strength of the mobs; nothing to complain about.

    The problem lies at the 3rd stage! When Tiamat reaches 50% HP, there are mobs that will spawn from each gate. First 2 minutes, it fairly good I can hold the mobs, but after that the mobs start spawning, and spawning, and spawning yet again ( DAFUQ ?!). There is no way you can kill these mobs as they have around 100.000HP. Besides the fact that they have huge HP, they are strong elite mobs which have a loot of Armor + high Magic Rezist. It's true that these mobs don't have big damage, the problem lies in their numbers. After 4-5 minutes, there are about 60mobs on the map. I had two tanks we gave each other panoply, bodyguard we used iron skin, empyrean providence, Nezekan shieldm ( I forgot to mention I made a full tank stigma templar as I realised I had no chance with my PvP templar). With all of these we weren't able to tank the mobs in time for the second group to kill Tiamat.

    In the interest of not being flamed like mad here is the way we built our alliance; I will say what chars we had:


    1.Tank---------------------1.Gladiator
    2.Tank---------------------2.Gladiator
    3.Cleric--------------------3.Gladiator
    4.Chanter------------------4.Spirit Master
    5.Sorcerer-----------------5.Cleric
    6.Cleric--------------------6.Chanter

    Note: All chanters and clerics had full support stigmas. And templars had full tanking stigmas.

    We reached about 9% on first try and 13% on the second try, 3rd one was canceled of course.

    I know some players where able to defeat Tiamat and I get off my hat for them and seriously I have the uttermost respect for you guys. BUT SERIOUSLY the instance is too damned hard !! We need a nerf on DLR.

    Proposed nerfs:
    Tiamat's HP decreased by 10% to 15% (in between these values)
    Number of mobs decreased by 25% to 30%
    Note: I calculated these percents knowing that all my teammates had full Primal/Tiamat +15 + Vasharti/Tiamat weapons +15 (fused who needed). So if these buff where to apply it would still be hard to finish DLR.

    Of course it only depends on the owner of this server if he will want to apply these nerfs to DLR. Why you ask? Mainly for the money. I'm not afraid of saying that admin sells myth weapons to players without even putting them in the credit shop. It's a well known fact about most Private Server owners. I hate to admit it but I did it also when I had a MU server. So it's in his interest to keep DLR an over powered instance.

    Lol. MR has a chance to resist magic attacks, it doesn't reduce damage in anyway. I'm FULL HAC and Im almost 2.7k mr And i can't even resist bosses and some players.

    Just remeber this is a boss NPC not some player with bad MA theres a difference between a players stats, and a bosses stats big difference. Its impossible to resist a bosses magic attacks unless your 50 something levels higher then the boss. Bosses have crazy high MA and Accuracy so don't think think " Oh I'm Full Mr" I'll resist everything.

    DLR is fine, and beatable by players, as is.

    No retuning will be done.

    I've only heard of a single group from the asmos side able to finish the instance. No1 does it because it's too OP. And you can't find decent people these days they are all impatient, or don't know english, point being there's always something. It's the empress muada drama all over again on steroids.

    Hell I took so many gladis because they have a pretty good ratio in defense/damage for PvE. If the mage or scout gets only one mob he's dead without constant healing, they lack in defense badly when they fight elite mobs, priest are better I have to admit but they also lack.

    I'd like to call on those who've been able to finish DLR. I'll bet I can "count them using my fingers"

    You realize that, you're not supposed to single group it, its a 12 man right? :D

    I did specify my Alliance build for this instance, above those aren't groups, that is the alliance I was referring to

    At least lowering the MOBS spawn would be nice :(....its too damn hard!

    LOL...that boss is ok...BTW last time i defeat that boss just have glad,cleric,chanter and me sorc its more than enough than having many tanker in a group/allies cuz it can confusing healer...

    Lol who are you cus as far as i know Population kontrol is the only people to date who have killed tiamat

    Biggest load of bull ever , you can resist boss attacks and quite frequently.

    As for the Tiamat thing have fun you need 12 fully geared people in a call who know what they are doing to kill this beetch.
