Don’t we need clearer/updated rules?

I see many ppl lately reporting other players for different kinds of reasons like obelisk camping, breaking spawn protection, and not paying attention what exactly they get in return during trading. I, personally have seen those things many times and I have never known that this is prohibited and/or bannable (for instance obelisk camping). So I’ve been thinking that maybe we need clearer/new rules (if there are any) cuz as far as I can see in the ‘Rules & How- to gather proof’ thread it is said that: ( I quote) “The Report Section Is For Reporting Hackers, or Scam. Any other threads outside these guidelines will be deleted”.
I have also been thinking that maybe there must be some kind of punishment for false reporting and I’ m not talking about those reporters who think /are not certain if someone is breaking the rules so they report but it turns out that they are wrong. I m talking about those false reporters who for some reason (getting personal revenge, having no better hobby, just learned how to make videos, etc) report regular/innocent players. I know that people must be encouraged to report but my suggestion is to be some punishment for false reporting – for instance: 5-10 false reports – temporal ban, more – permanent ban. That may prevent those malicious people from reporting innocent players and may save the GMs’ time which will improve the efficiency of the server.

 

meh i told them to make a login screen news feed like virtually every other private server ages ago that would list the rules so people would have no excuse for saying they didnt know but yea, it got ignored as usual. it aint even that hard to make
