Downgrade and Patch files for 2.0.0.5

For those who have been update to 2.1 this will be helpfull

-Navigate to your game directory, usally CProgran Files/NCSoft/Aion

-First of all copy files "CopyWinmm.exe" and "CopyWinMM.exe" from your Bin32 folder and put it some were safe

-Now if you have any patches ABOVE 2.0.0.5 delete the patch file. (this is because the server is running V2.0.0.5)
eg "Aion_Main_2.0.0.5To2.1.0.0ncpatch"

-Open the file "Aion_Main_*.*.*.*To2.0.0.5ncpatch" with WINRAR.
Once it is opened up extract the contents of the "product files" to your aion folder replacing all files.

Alternitavly: extract them to a new folder and just cut and past them in your aion folder replacing everything

Now get them files you got earlyer from the Bin32 folder "CopyWinmm.exe" and "CopyWinMM.exe" and put back into the bin 32 folder if they are not there.
and run CopyWinMM.exe

and your done. back to game version 2.0.0.5

or
1.First you need an old ncpatch file if you dont have
(you can look in your aion main folder or just search for ncpatch keyword)

2.Download one with 2.0 name in it

3.Extract the files in the desktop(in a folder) and replace em in the aion folder

eg bin32 with bin32(to avoid make double files and folder)

4.Run nclauncher as Admin,select Aion,right click properties and repair firstto load the older patch in the game properly

5.next search and delete the patch with name aion2.*.*.*To2.1.0.0ncpatch or 2.1.0.0Repair

right click again Aion at nclauncher and update now

6.when the update goes to 2.0.0.5 to 2.1 stop the update and make a repair again

i will try to always update this thread cause every user will be have a few problems

step 1 : remove bin32
step 2 : open NCsoft launcher
step 3 : repair
step 4 : then download new launcher from site
step 5 : install the launcher

i dont know if corrupt the languace folders that way and update the half EU folder and USA in the same time

 

Ok this has only been tested as far as logging in, it is not known wether it will cause undesired effects in the long run such as Crashes etc,

But if your client is 2.1 then delete your bin32 folder and replace with this;

Then attempt to login, if any immediate issues occur please let me know, otherwise this will allow you to login at least.

repairing client will restore it to 2.1 automatically.

 

man this will change only the path files,and maybe have missing items files data etc ingame,repair is MUST after the delete of bin32 and as u see i suggest in the previous post

 

I just tested it and it works.

Repairing it will automatically take it to 2.1 as stated above.

when you repair your client you recieve info at which patch it is and if you stop it stop at the corrent

if you miss a file(and you suggest to delete /bin32 contents) it will redownload latest version of that file without patching.

after each download it patches the files and continue to next version
