Downloading/Updating Errors/Issues

I have Instaled the NCsoft program and installed Aion. Or atleast it says i have installed Aion. When i open it, it starts to Update like it's supose to, and starts updating the Aion game.

This is where the problem comes in.

It gets to about 47% and then Says Aion-Error.

It says that an error occured last time it tried to perform an operation, and says that Accsses to the path was denied.

Why is this? and how do i fix this? I'm REALLY getting frustrated.

Do i have to uninstall it and start completely from scratch? ike dont even try to restore it when i re-install it?

 

Are you an admin on the computer you are trying to patch the game on? What operating system are you using?

When this happens you should check to make sure your internet connection is still active. If you can provide more details we can try to help.

 

Try to download the manual patches.
If you go to gamershell you can download aion manualy and then instal it.

 

Well i'm usaing windows vista, my internet connection is alive and well....and i've completely uninstalled th ncsoft and re-downloaded everything last night.

the updates started about an hour ago and was at maybe 33% the last time i checked....and now it's back at 5%..... i'm crossing my fingers. if it doesnt wrk then i shall try to manually install it.

the private servert will not download though. it says that it cannot find the aion path

 

run the launcher as admin i think that should work

 

where do i get the manual patches....?

lol yea i had a similar problem this morning and it denied accses for a file all i did was run as admin and it worked

 

sweetness :U and if they friggin turned off the server and i wasted two days of my life downloading this i shall hunt down the creator! GOD CANNOT SAVE THEM! RAEG!

Another issue

So...now the updates and installation went smoothly, i downloaded the private server, and windows keeps saying there was a problem running it. Am i supose to update my DirectX thingy?

 

it wil solve the close probleem yeah. With updated directx.

Flying Issues

RAEG!!!


I can't use free fly in places that other players can! I mean i watch em all take off, and here i am, clicking the toggle flight button like a mad woman screaming at my computer about how retarded it is XD god.....

Someone tell me how to fix this problem plz =___=;
