Hey there! I thought I should share a couple of videos with you guys, from a band called Dream Theater. To those that are not familiar with it, it's a Progressive Metal Band, perhaps the most influential Prog Metal band in history. But what can be so amazing about a band? Well, they take the term "Progressive" to a whole new level, from the constant change in tonality, musical ambient, to even extremely odd time signatures! Made of pretty much Musical Prodigies, this band has, for almost 30 years, shown the world what it is to be passionate about music.

Well, enough talking. Let me introduce you to a classic of theirs. This was actually taken live at the 2005 20th anniversary concert they performed in New York.

They decided to get an Orchestra hired for this Concert, which only made this song even more awesome. Now the curious thing is, if you look up the original song you'll have a hard time finding any possible mistakes in the live version. You'll see if you bother to look =P

Now how hard can these guys sound? There's quite a few "heavy" songs; As I Am, This Dying Soul, The Shattered Fortress, etc. But the one I want to show you is the one that made me fall in love with this band as soon as I heard it, and I am not joking about this part at all.

This song hardly changes its rhythm, but by the time it gets to the heavy part you know you're in for a big one. I'd recommend you to listen to this one with some high quality earbuds =P

They Have also challenged Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon Conceptual Album's 1st place with an album called Metropolis Pt. 2, Scenes From a Memory. This was actually intended to be a song, a continuation to the first one I linked, but it ended up being a major project that ended up being a major success and quite probably their best selling album. I'm not linking that one because it's big, but if you're curious enough you'll try to find it =P

Now to finish this short...exposition of such a great band, I'll leave you with what quite possibly is their Magnum Opus in terms of Progressive Metal. This was released in a self-titled album that oddly enough was NOT a studio album. Its name describes what you're in for with this one, enjoy!

In this live version, they also had their goofing moments which you won't hear in the album version. This is something they also do a lot in between songs!

Hope you watch at least one of these videos, and really hope you like what you hear. As of now, they have 11 Studio Albums, planning their 12th right now and still In Constant Motion (Fans will get this one o.o)!

ALSO!! While I am at this I might as well point out a change in our Aion Server Ruleset, which got implemented just now!

I'm pointing this out just in case it is needed! I will also be announcing this every 10 minutes during my online times. PLEASE TAKE HEED OF THIS. Thanks :3

Im against banning for that if it is. Never asked about it for fear of confirmation of it being bannable, even though it really probably isn't.
