Drop rate

Maybe i am halucinating again but i experienced an interesting fact, a just came back to play after i had a long maybe 3 month break, of course there are a lot of changes during this pereiod, but sadly i experienced the worst thing. I and my friend were in in fire temple for almost 2 hours when finally we reached the final boss, then after 15 mins boss fight i loot it and SUPRISE no weapons only what it dropped is some *-**/-* beeeeep *-* meow meow items, exactly: 1 material some white manastone and a necklace. So i would like to ask whether is it a normal, a poor or a ultra super mega high drop?

oh btw i forgot to mention when we killed it before it dropped at least 3 gold weapons and we could fly to him under 20 mins.

 

No, gold items' drop is limited per kill of a mob. In other words, a mob in core will never drop more than like 3 Elder items. This part is like that in Retail too. BUT, retail has low-cap (for bosses only tho, just like Kromede) to drop AT LEAST one gold item. So you might report it as a bug :3

 

It's not a bug, last year I farmed that boss and Chaos and got every weapon, they changed the drops, the mobs outside of Eltnen no longer drop the gold weapons and pants they used to either.

 

I tried one FT run, like 9 days ago and it was fine, 2 gold weapons from Kromede Dropped, staff and tome.
