Edited elyos???????

The funniest thing happened when we came out of DP. A couple Elyos waiting outside. Nothing out of the ordinary you'd think... However.... These Elyos we LINKED to the obelisc in Hoafrost Shelter WTF?! 2 of 'em, "Celty" and "Warcry" and that's not all, 1st 3 times we killed "Warcry" gave 8000 Abyss points, thereafter only gave 1... soo.... character lost all ranks all at once?! LOL this is the kind of sht that is destroying this server... ppl being able to link anywhere, fly anywhere and control how many abyss points they loose....

No ss btw, lmao while fighting and seeing how they cheated

 

i think if you kill a player couple of times, it lowers (drastically) the AP that you get. I have experienced this as well. Not sure if it's normal since I have not played in retail..

I have not tried linking to opposite faction though..i have tried to buy items from opposite faction's NPCs and I was able to do that as well. Not sure if it's normal.. xD

I guess I am trying to second your findings.. ^___^

 

I've been killed 12 times in a row, NEVER lost 1 AP... always lost according to rank. Out of curiosity I tryed linking to enemy's obeliscs and wasn't able to. Needless to say, not able to fly wherever I wanted either....

 

A character can only be killed by the opposing faction so many times before you get almost 0 ap off them. This helps to prevent ap swapping.
As far as them being bound to Hoarfrost, I went and tried to bind there on Ashlin. It did not allow me to do so. However this is not to say you were wrong about what you saw. Just next time, please get some screens or video of this to show us.

 

10 kills in 24 hours. after that 1 or 0 ap per kill.

A can kill B 10 times and get full AP from him but after that no more.
