[Event] Lucent's Social Experiment

Sorry to interrupt all of you while you're being so respectful and kind to one another but...Oh wait, not all of you ARE being respectful and kind to one another. That is why I have decided to conjure up a little test for the members of the Gamez Network.

First of all - I'll mention the rewards since that seems to grab attention the fastest. (I'll elaborate on HOW people will get these rewards later on in the post, so be sure to read that if you actually want them!)
Three winners will receive a FULL Forgotten Abyssal set (currently the rarest armor set on Gamez, if I'm not mistaken) of their choice. Cloth, Leather, Chain or Plate, whichever one you want, you will receive the entire set.
Depending on permission from the head of staffs, the rewards may get even better.

Okay, now to the actual event. The event is pretty simple. You must be NICE to everyone, as much as possible. This means helping a player out by leveling them, maybe pointing them in the right direction, keeping your cool in a flame thread and instead giving the original poster the answer they're looking for, helping someone with an error message or something like that. This applies to both Aion (Lumiel, Siel, or Crystal, it doesn't matter, this applies to all of you) or the forums. The event is not exclusive. Every single day on Gamez, people are rude to each other all over the place. I figure a week of everyone trying to be nice will really bring out some happiness in Gamez, and maybe people will like it enough afterwards to do it even without the chance of getting a reward from it. Some people just need to discover what the greatest reward in the world is - human happiness.

When you help someone out in some way (must be a good DEED, not just friendliness), TAKE PROOF. Either a screenshot, or the link to your post. Post that proof in this thread.

Now, the three winners will be selected AT RANDOM. Basically, its going to work as a sort of raffle, for each act of kindness you do, you can make a new post to prove it. Once the event ends, I will roll random numbers based on how many posts are in the thread. (ie: if theres 2000 posts in the thread when it ends, I'll roll 2-2000).

Now, there are some things you can do to make me skip your submission and instead pick someone else.

1. First of all, and most importantly, the entire event is based on being friendly, so if you're only posting a few good deeds to get rewards but not actually being friendly most of the time, you will be disqualified. The event isn't just for you to show you did one thing nice, you have to actually BE nice and respectful for a week. If I notice any excessive rudeness, again, you will be disqualified.
   
2. Obviously if the post doesn't contain adequate proof or the post is a discussion post and not an entry, then I'll skip over it. You don't have to worry about anyone winning for asking a question.

The event itself will end and winners will be announced at around 3:00 PM EST on this upcoming Sunday, the 19th of June 2011. I have just heard news that 2.5 will also be released on this day so you guys have some things to anticipate on Sunday!

 

Since I know a few people might not read the entire thing, I'll also repeat core points:

• The goal of the event is for everyone to be friendly for the week.
• Each good DEED you do, you may take proof and post it in this thread counting as an entry.
• The more deeds you do, the more chance you will win.
• Three numbers will be chosen randomly from all the entries.
• Those three winners will be allowed to select their choice of a Forgotten Abyssal SET (Cloth, Leather, Chain or Plate)
• Winners will be announced on Sunday the 19th of June 2011.
• If you are naughty, I will notice.

Just for clarification - Carl did approve this event. I approved the FA sets for winners. Lucent posted it because this event was his idea, however, both of us will be keeping track of screens, etc. Have fun guys!
