Feedback from Carl please. -Everyones Thoughts-

Allright now, I hate to be the barrer of bad news but everyones thinkin' it, im just saying it:

I'm sure everyone would like Carl's oppinion on how much longer.
There are other people like me who would have liked to log on multiple times today but only to find the servers down and no hard evidance it will finish any time soon.

NOW before all the people start spamming the fourm below, i have afew things to say

A hardware problem has occurred on the server as diagnosed by our hosting provider, They will need to clone and replace our data drive and it will take at least 3 hours. If there are any problems cloning, it might take a bit longer since we will need to restore and reinstall the OS and all the data to a new data drive.

One of the key points I wish to make is that I'm asking for Carl's response.

All were realy asking is that he look at the amount of data, and the speed its doing what it needs to do, and give an estimated guess, and to give his supporters some feedback.


Thats all we ask for realy. No more of the mod's/GM's/Whatevers' responses please. Just some personal feedback from Carl. Please and thanks;

Carl would say the same thing Alente did.

They are waiting on the server host, and he's dicking around. There is nothing they can do. x(

 

Carl and Alente are working on it as we speak in the meantime, there are other things you can do, like you can go outside, read a book, watch TV, play another game, talk to friends, surf the amazing interweb, and so much more

 

And I thought the reason people played on private aion servers was because they had lots of things to do in their lives and CBA to play a lot D:

 

Do you people have anything better to do? Just wait until it's back up.

When it's up, you'll know because you'll be able to log on. Making threads isn't going to get it up any faster.

 

Doesn't realy change the fact that he could ask sead server host to give him a progress update. and if not, it still doesn't hirt for him to come on and give us an update on why we've been waiting around for 13+ hours with not much of an explaination =/

 

Wow...A moderator just completely overlooked the whole intention of that message? this was intended for Carl on the behalf of the GamezAion community. The other GM's/Moderators/etc. would appreciate information too. We know nothing more than you do.

 

Like i sead tho, don't shoot the messanger, im putting everyone's thoughts into this. I -HAVE- actualy talked to multiple people about this and they mostly feel the same way

 

Yeah guys, respect is something that everyone deserves, noone is better than anyone else on the forums.

 

The only point of this thread is to get an ETA to up-time.. like I said.

When it's up, you'll know. Go and do something. Carl probably won't respond to this thread since he's not even on. If you really wanted to get an answer you'd email admin@gamezaion.com or PM him.

 

IT doesn't take 16 hours to clone a drive,anybody that knows anything about computers know that.

 

She's representing the entire GamezAion community. this isn't for an ETA, it's more along the lines of, will we ever be able to play GamezAion again?

 

Carl and Alente are kind of busy actually working on getting the server up. If they came on the forums to give everyone updates, that would only delay things further.

 

That and, like the post says: We want some info from Carl himself and not just a brush off from the mods =/

 

We understand that, it's only he's been gone for nearly 9 hours as it stands right now. It shouldn't take that long to get a server back up and running. There's one exception though, if he had to order new hardware. But there's no intel. on that, is there?

 

Why wouldn't you be able to play on Gamez again, lol

 

If you want Carl to contribute to fixing it with the provider, stop trying to call him out?

Sorry but you all need to really shut up and move on.. Go outside, run, fight a bear, set fire to something, steal stuff, arm wrestle your neighbours. If Aion is THIS much of a problem in your life you need to reconsider your priorities. Just wait.. PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE..


It isn't up to Carl, he might not be able to CONTACT the provider? Cause he might be.. you know.. BUSY TRYING TO FIX IT..

Let him do it, don't complain so much, Moderaters like Beast can reply all they like, Carl isn't going to at this time..
