Welll we kinda lost interest, because when were waiting for that were still in college but now time flies and we got responsibilty already.. but definitely gonna try it with my gf and friends

This is because they canceled their latest project that they were hoping to make big bang on. They were afraid that BnS would compete with their own new MMO in the West.

So now they are gonna resort to bringing this game onto the market vs ArcheAge / TERA, and potentially Lost Ark / Bless Online / Black Desert Online.
Its pitiful really.

If Carl has any intention of opening a B&S server now would be the time to do it. Unfortunately, B&S is free-to-play, as is almost every big MMO release coming over the next year or two. The moment it hits western markets you can bet nobody that isn't already able to play it will stick around for a Gamez version when they have free access to a consistently updated, larger, more stable and more mainstream version, one with less bugs. A perfect example is what happened with GamezTera. It was a good plan except the F2P change came out of nowhere and immediately made anyone interested in Tera jump over to retail. Why wouldn't they? It sucks for Gamez and makes any effort any Gamez staff put into the project meaningless, but it is the way it is, and the same will happen with B&S once it releases so if Carl has put in any work and planning into B&S, he has until the winter release to not only bring up the server and get everyone interested in it, but also build up enough of a player base that once the retail version hits, people will be invested in it enough to stay. Aion stays afloat because Gamez had years to rack up players. People don't want to leave to grind again, people don't want to get all that gear again, and most importantly people don't want to leave their friends. Those won't exist if GamezBnS releases at the same time as NCWest's release, or even the closed betas, though.

 

So now some new ppl and player can understand why fab color the blue :3
