Fix the Eltnen/Morheim Rifts

So, uh, when is Zer0patches and/or Boxx going to fix the rifts in Eltnen/Morheim to restrict people above level 45?

Only the rifts in Beluslan/Hieron are supposed to allowe 55's through. This problem is destroying the level 40 zones for each race :x

 

lol...is it really broken??? All i know is that I have done something that has taken off as a major fad....from about a month and a half ago...i rerolled as an elyos ranger, thus bringing life to Fugli....then- I leveled up to 35, jumped into a morheim rift, and leveled to 55 from there! I used to just gank the higher lvls- but it was too easy!! so I decided to conquer all!! But, now....I am pretty sure ppl are using other means to get to either morheim or eltnen. At the very least, I had morheim in my pocket for a whole month and a half- enjoyed frustrating my very own faction with the elyos i had been running. Coming from retail has taught me alot- the quests, the skills....and the most important- the fear that can be gathered from being an original thinker- always outside the box. Sooo- maybe....just maybe- Not all of us are using a glitch in the rifts- u wanna get rid of me in morheim? send out a search party for my 1 of 3 kisks I lay down. And hope i dont come back!!!! Theres nothing wrong with the rifts. There are two quests for elyos and two quests for asmos that let ANYONE go to morheim/eltnen. Level doesnt matter for these quests, but they can only be used twice.

 

If its still not fixed, I'd drop zero a PM. Boxx/ganji/whoever is gone i believe.

 

No don't fix it xD. it better if we can go into eltnen or Morheim.

 

Exactly how? So you can feel good that you can actually kill someone? even if that person is a level 30 without gear? All it is going to do is cause new players to be frustrated and quit. People will camp with parties just killing all the newbies. And thus no new players will want to play here

@ everyone else: The rifts in the level 40 regions are broke allowing anyone of any level to go through. They do not close. They're allowing a surge of level 55's--not just the random duo, or trio--but an entire surge of pad-campers through on both sides.

For now I'm going to have fun rolling an Elyos to hunt down Asmodians (even though, for anyone who can read, my signature makes it clear I am primarily Asmodian)

All I've seen in Eltnen/Morheim since this problem has been discovered by the masses, is slobbering group of unintelligent retards camping outposts, and small village flight pads, like starved rats, hungry for that scrap of 10AP.

How is anyone, of either faction, supposed to level a character up? Because you can only do theo/Brusth until level 30 or so, then you HAVE to go to Morheim/Eltnen for the next 10 levels before you can return.

And as far as I know, Adieu and I are the only people who've rifted Eltnen with a sense of ethics.

I'm pretty disappointed, for lack of a better word, in everyone regardless of faction (since i have no faction loyalty lol) griefing lowbies like this.

The rifts teleport level requirements should stay the same, in my opinion. It keeps world PvP exciting. Yes, you have 55s ganking lowbies, but that only leads to [Location] spamming in LFG, which then comes the opposing 55s to help them out. Not to mention, i've gotten away from plenty low-level city raids as a lower level. Like I said before, it just keeps world PvP exciting.

Yes they are bugged, any lvl can enter any rift in game regardless if the rift is an entrance or exit rift. Kinda funny and makes the game a little more exiting if you ask me, gives everyone other places to terrorize and different scenery .

 

now that i think about it this all makes it seem like u would find even more ppl of the opposing race in eltnen/morheim than even in the abyss lol (lvl 55 of course)

I suppose this is true, but what if you were new to the server? How would you ever make it, without experiencing severe frustration, to a high enough level to leave Eltnen for Theobomos (or Morheim to Brusthonin)? You'd probably get so fed up with the idiots camping, and griefing you that you'd come to the forum to make a complain, get ridiculed by the community, then quit the game.

As much fun as everyone who is already well off is having, this element is detrimental to the fundamental mechanics, and balance (what little the server has left anyway) of this server. Allowing this chaos to continue will not be doing anyone any good in the long run.

 

please dont change the rifts. this is refreshing to the server.

You ask for it to stay, but enough people will complain and it'll get changed.

People that want it to stay are already geared and leveled, and don't bother with the 'I don't kill lowbies' stuff because theres plenty of people who could care less. PvP server or not, it's only gonna be a 'nice thing' till the influx of players stops, due to being unable to level. If your goal is server death keep things the way they are.

I say the ones who wants the rift to be this way is the ones only capable of hunting lowbies.
either they're to scared to actually pvp their own lvl or they always got pawned by their own lvl.
