[Fix] Unable to Fly

If you're unable to fly when this is a free-fly server (this including places like Sanctum, Pandemonium, Heiron, Morheim, etc. it means that you have an unmodified system.ovr file.

This system.ovr has ACT (Advanced Combat Tracker) configurations installed so you do not have to setup the system.ovr when installing ACT.

[LOOK HERE!]
- Before installing, make sure your Aion Client is CLOSED.
- Also once you're done, you need to run the gamezaion client as an ADMINISTRATOR.

Step 1.

Place the system.ovr in your GamezAion folder.
Your GamezAion folder should look something like this..



Step 3.

You're done, now go play.

Lol. I have Windows Vista. Too lazy to reformat. It's just incase I need it since my friends ask me to reformat and shit.

 

Holy Crap. People here are so useful, and so many ppl on Forums are dedicated to help. I just did not expect that on a private server <3 <3

Well I did this whole switch the file thing, went in game, tried it in Sanctum and ...

 

Okay I have the solution just copy and paste all of this into your system.ovr file

-- add your settings to this file, not system.cfg

This should fix the problem, as it did for me.


I seriously don't know how many people I have given this fix to it's not that hard to just look up a thread. I originally posted this in a thread entitled, =fix for wings=.

 

I'll try this and tell you if it worked.

Doesn't work, I'm not able to save the file when I edit it. Says I don't have access (Privilege), When I delete the file and replace it with the downloadable one from this thread, It just makes a new one when I start AION. I don't think I'm gonna be able to fly. Fail computer is fail.

 

Are you using Vista? If so go to >Start>Open notepad as Admin>Open system.ovr and replace and save the files.

I mean replace and save the text.

Alright I got it to work by doing something someone told me to do last night, but I didn't know about running notepad as admin to Delete ERROR and the N and save, Thanks for the advice and your time.

I have tried everything they said here but still didn't work for me! Idk wat to do now...

 

You probably had the same problem as me, I would download the file, but it would only show up as a .txt file. and I couldn't edit the .ovr file even when Aion was closed. Just download the .zip her
