Flying bugged?

Okay well....I just made a char today and I have all the correct downloads that I need to have but for some reason I can sometimes fly in starting area, and then sometimes my wings just come off and I can no longer fly there....what's up with that?

That's because there is a 'Search' button for these exact reasons, this 'Fix' has been said in about 50 threads much like this.

Have you edited your System.ovr file?

If not, then open your 'System' (.OVR) file found in your main 'Aion' folder with Notepad and remove all text, and replace with this;

g_chatlog = "1"
log_IncludeTime = "1"
log_Verbosity = "1"
log_FileVerbosity = "1"
g_open_aion_web = "0"
g_save_preset = "1"
g_auto_disconnect = "0"
g_freefly = "1"
ng_freefly = "1"

Ensure the game is not running and the client/launcher is closed before doing this.

 

Don't give them a hard time! I used search to find this problem AGAIN for my son to fix his flying problem. Typed in "cannot fly", "can't fly" and no search results. Yall might want to check the way the engine is working for searches. This is not the first time its been a pain the arse!
