for expert in chanter

hi! i have started playing with chanter and i have problem with the manastone build can, so the expert in chanters can help me pls! thanks

What type of chanter?

 

you don't need full resist to pvp lol

with a good offensive build you kill the opponent before he/she can do anything and you don't need to resist anything

resist help to survive the zerg which is chase you

 

Never seen a chanter capable of doing that before, well I can always be surprised.

 

with this 10/10 silence sh!t easy to kill a sorc/sm
80% of the time they get silenced with the first hit, so they remain in stunlock

 

Personally I prefer Full MR, mainly because I can't ever really experience good solo PvP without at least 2-4 people jumping in...and having a magic class nuking in the background is costly.

Main gear: Set = MR / Staff = Crit (get a mace & shield and put MR on it too)

but in the rare times I get decent solo PvP I pop my Crit-Parry set :3 though you can mix and match with: crit-attack-accuracy too.

 

Oh, well that is a different story then.

 

i have too a mace & shield with MR it can give more chance to survive against a zerg

 

without the 10/10 it would be harder (and also more enjoyable) pvp

would be nice if they reduce it to 5%

 

Oh if it's EAT then go for pew pew build then since EAT chain has very low MR so it'd be useless putting MR on it. Crit/Accuracy would be good though you can play around with attack or parry too.

For cheap MR get Masta Chain or even SW Chain. If you're a bit desperate you can even use a cloth set for MR but you'll be easier to kill by melees so just use it against magic classes if you have to.

 

I rolled my sorc (when I was active on it) with masta cloth MR and did pretty well (had ABG Cloth then too, but this was before ABG stats were updated so masta had the better MR). Before I got another ABG Chain for my chanter I used SW Chain for MR lul

So overall it's pretty good for MR so that alone makes it decent, obviously in most instances PvP sets are preferable but if you don't have that then the next best substitute of course is...well what ever is easier to get :3

 

If you are an eat user then run in crit/parry build. MR will be useless. Btw who said that you can silence someone with the first hit? If the user has high MR and you attack him with a physical skill,good luck in silencing him. Awhile ago i was on my glad fighting a cleric,and in a 2 minute fight my silence proced only 1 time,he was a full MR user.

 

my girlfriend has full MR set (cleric), and in duel i can silence her 2-3 times, i only always put on Magic Mantra I and problam solved (and i use full attack build no macc or anyother)

 

Eat gear? go for attack .. parry won't help .. specially when most glads and rangers have high acc due to their manastone build

 

Also, as people said, u will need an MR set. Try to get SW. Its good if u dont have an Mastarius/ABG Set.

 

When i was using attack set the only way to kill sorc's where to kill as fast as i can and always interupt the spells.. now it's nearly impossible.. even if you are MR chanter they use SoF or magic assist or m.acc set.. you are dead again.. People only rely on their silence godstone
