Fresh Install Downgrade Help

Hi,

I have a problem with my aion client. Since i didn't play in a long time, I saw some new changes(new Aion ncsoft launcher for example).

Well i installed aion and patched it to 4.0.0.2, after that i used the downgrade guide and replaced everything from my aion folder with the files from the guide.(Win 8)

I installed Gameszaion Launcher and started the game, now i got an error message saying: Failed to initate game (1024).

What did I do wrong?

 

When dealing with the new ncsoft launcher there are 2 steps to follow
1. Pick a religion of your choice
2. Start praying

Seriously that thing sucks so bad. Anyways count the number of files in your bin32 folder, it should be over 50. If it is around 20 or so then you screwed up and it deleted the rest of the files. You will have to repair and downgrade again. I suggest making a backup of your bin32 folder be4 every downgrade just so you can avoid having to repair.

Anyways could be a few other things but this is the most likely. I might take a look at your client remotely later so you might wanna get teamviewer if this doesn't work.

 

I repaired the Client and used only the Main downgrade file. bin32 has 53 files.
Now im able to login but i get now another error about the servers.
i will sent you a pm with my teamviewer id.

 

Alright, it works now.
What i did for Win 8 is:
Extract only Main Downgrade to a new folder and then copy them to replace the files from aion.
after that i used win8 fix file. and before that i disabled UAC with regedit.
