It probably wouldn't be a good idea to even try to relate accounts in any way other than manually, and even then I see a few reasons not to do it. Automatically doing it could end up with some horrible relations being made between cafe internet players or players using ping reducers, so it's better to avoid doing that IMO xD..

The idea as far as the system goes would be to keep treating users as separate accounts, and it would still be thesame for GM's in all cases except were it's obviously not the case (i.e. extremely similar account names). Like I said, the only two downsides I find to this are the fact that it needs to be coded, and the fact that GMs are going to be getting a little more paperwork.

Your complete unwillingness to communicate what's wrong with my thread is also not appreciated. It's not like I'm some random noob suggesting more credits per vote or something, you can actually reply to me and I could actually understand you and have a civilized discussion. The lack of any interest in the suggestion whatsoever should not translate into you closing my thread just because GM Powers. It's a forum, forums are used to discuss, so discuss. I've given a perfectly valid thread topic to do so and don't see why it should be closed with no explanation.

 

Seeing as Gms dont really do events anymore i cant see more paperwork as that big of a deal ^_^. Or the fact that you have ams that dont do anything anymore or that ever do something...omegaweapon...oh wait i forgot to cough....cough*
Seems valid enough, however if they dont like it they dont like it and eh...Staffs been seeming a bit moody on some points lately.

 

With that answer, I do not see why is the HGM of Lumiel so high regarded in this place.

First of all I'm not trying to start or encourage a bunch or drama and flames here, but I AM going to give my honest to goodness judgment on this.

What I don't get is why even have a section for suggestions and feedback if that is the response we are going to get. I can understand if it's some noob whining about how donation prices are too high and how it takes too long to vote and crap like that, but when a suggestion such as this is actually thought out and presented in a professional way and the feed back is "Your suggestions are not appreciated" then honestly and bluntly speaking, that's a pretty major dick move.

If you don't like the idea or don't want to implement because reasons then that's fine but it really isn't asking to much to at least be nice about it when you come in with the rejection.

 

SirJoseph & Lord beastie I totally agree with you guys, its obviously power abuse and it should be taken care of. The simple fact that he is not even willing to consider the suggestion is disgusting and pathetic. But I don't blame him, some people don't deserve the position they have or have grown intolerant towards others because of personal life issues or stress itself, who knows.

I don't mean to start a flame war or disrespect anyone, just my 2 cents.

Really the bigger issue here isn't that he isn't willing to accept or consider the suggestion it's the WAY he rejected. Like I said before, truthfully and quite bluntly speaking, it was rude and a pretty major dick move.

If you don't like the idea or don't want to implement it then that's one thing. Some things can't be implemented or they may not work out as well as people think they will but if you just come in all like "Your ideas are not appreciated" /close then that's really gonna be a major turn off to the players and they are going to get upset by the attitude being shown at an idea that was actually thought and presented by someone who truly wanted to help improve the server.

With a response like the one given, this will also drive away both newer players, and players that have been here for a long time but haven't been active on the forums. They may have ideas of their own they want to share but when they see the responses given to the ones currently being presented, then they may decide not only to keep their ideas to themselves, but to also take their money, and tell all their friends and guildmates to and go to other servers that may be more approachable in regards to people suggesting well intentioned ideas that are meant to improve the server.
