Game Client Crash While Playing

After the server updated to 1.9 I have been facing this problem where the game client just crash without any reason/warning while playing. Few times a day.

It usually happens when I use teleporter/scrolls to move to other town or when i click on NPC (broker/warehouse).

Another problem is my graphic settings revert back to default everytime i restart the client.

I have tried reinstalling, update to latest version via ncsoft launcher and using latest Gamezaion launcher but none helps.

I duno wat else to do. Really need some help on this. :sad:

i've been having this issue too. the error is something about game.dll. i saw in one of Demi's guide there isn't really 100% fix for this.. dunno if anybody has a different solution thou.

 

I have the same issue when i fight taha i just fly and fight him now doesnt freeze XD

 

Me and Alente have actually had this problem quite often as well.

I'm curious if all of you that its happening to are running on high graphics? I run on full high myself, as well as Alente I think, and I personally have an idea its mostly only a problem with people running on high graphics (none of my low graphic friends have had it happen) and it only seems to occur when loading something, but I have yet to find the exact cause.

I'd really like to hear if someone knows the exact meaning behind it as its something thats causing me a lot of headache recently.

Hmm, that could be the reason, I also run on high graphics and I usually crash at least 4 times a day, more if it's laggy like DTK raids *cough*

 

I cash, every now and then, maybe like... 1-3 a day? I left my settings at stock since it doesn't save the settings and have to do it manually...

 

i ones read a guide here that changes the system.ovr
maybe that can help.

 

i think it's from the new item.pack..i have the same problem since i've replaced with the new one..

 

Same running on Max Settings graphics.
Just crashes when I'm clicking an NPC(Teleporter,Potion Seller, ETC.)

 

I have the settings on high and it doesnt crash it may be related to graphic driver or the client , I have a GTX 260 with the latest driver ( I had a firend with a low end PC when we were talking on skype his PC was crashing (Blue screen of death ) when he didnt had any programs running in the backgroun he was fine )

 

i run everything on low and i still crash alllll the time. lag like no other and then crash.

I'm also running on highest setting but without AA.

In 1.5 I can change the graphic settings and it wont go back to default automatically.

My default is all max on the graphic slide bar but only texture is 1 slot lower than max.

 

My Fiance has the same problem, he runs the game on about standard settings though, the settings don't reset it's just annoying, things that do reset though are the hot keys that he set-up recently if he didn't have a normal log out after setting them up.

I've also crashed on my PC which runs the game at high, it only crashed during my ascension quest however, not really sure if that's relevant. Another thing we ran into is sometimes when he did crash he could not log back in, the client would crash again right after. So I looked into it, apparently the client doesn't run very well with Windows 7 (64-bit) and I had to run as admin and with Vista instead. Not really sure if that has anything to do with it or not.

 

I just spent 1 hour to tweak the different graphic settings available and my new settings will stay after client restart.

But the problem is my Aion client crashed about 5 times in that 1 hour and mostly happened when changing map.:annoyed:
