Gamer Rage

Rage obtained by frustration within a game.
1. Random guy: That ****er just used his scout in a knives only match, that piece of shit, I'll rip his neck open.
Random guy's friend: calm down man no need to gamer rage.
2. Other random guy: That **** nelf just shadowmeld charged me out of no where that cheap prick, man if I saw that kid in real life I'd kick the shit out of him.
Other random guy's friend: Calm down man, no need to gamer rage it's just wsg...

A person that becomes frustrated or angry when playing a game.
Person A is being killed over and over again in a game by Person B e.g. In a first person shooter like Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. This causes frustration and sheer anger towards Person B killing you repeatingly thus the term gamer rage. This anger is displayed through verbal means via a headset or chat with examples like:

"Oh my god you ****ing camper"
"**** you"
"You ****ing sprayer"
"Oh my god your such a lagger"

With generally explict verbal communication or verbal speech that creates a denial sense as to why Person A is constantly dying.

God Complex and Tilt.

 

When I play league I see A LOT of people rage for almost no reason. It's one reason I generally try to stay away from ranked unless I'm trying to get to a certain rank for season rewards.

Luckily, I'm pretty level headed and realize when I make mistakes or if a teammate makes a mistake I'll tell them what they could have done better instead of raging at them xD

 

I still support the though that there is no reason to invest emotions that can ruin your fun in a game.

 

I agree with Dd, the thing is there are this kind of e-peen raging nerds that take this way too seriously and think of it as a profession and rage ALL the time things don't go the way they want lol.
