Gaming Mouse Question

Ok, I used to have the Razer Naga but left it in the Philippines.
Bought a Red Dragon a month ago but the side buttons died... (SO I DONT RECOMMEND BUYING THIS GARBAGE) it was cheap around 35$ so why not. tried it.

so im thinking of buying a new one today or this week when im done researching what is best or better.

So, Razer Naga, the time i bought this, the only problem i had was , IT WAS TOO SMALL. i have huge hands and the naga feels like its made for kids.. or maybe female adults.. SO... not for me. haven't really check the new ones, so I dont know if they made it bigger.

other thing i am considering is the Logitech G600 MMO Mouse. I like it, and reviews are great. but i have/want to hear first hand from someone who uses this here (IF U EXISTS).



if you have other recommendations, please do share.. so that i can research on it and have a new one within this week via Amazon or newegg or where ever.. Thanks.

ps: been doing some clicking on skills the past week due to the much failure of the RedDragon
ps#2: not buying this solely for Aion. I play alot of other MMO games and MOBA games.

Before I found this I was thinking of buying the Logitech G600 too, but.. it was double price and yeah D: Plus that red one matches my setup. Why the hell not. Not like it makes a difference to Dimi >.>

 

@Dimitra That is my mouse now (Redragon M901) that side buttons died. well 4 buttons malfunctioned.
i must be so unlucky. since yours still works fine.

I literally just got it quickly cause it was cheap and my other mouse was wireless which.. was horrible for me. And cause I needed a new mouse.
I've only had that for a couple months, let's see how long it lasts >.> If I could I'd get the Logitech one though!

 

If I we're you I would invest on a razer deathadder chroma. I got the deathadder 2013 still in good shape and I'm planning to get the deathadder chroma to complete my chroma set up.

 

@Dimitra i see, maybe i am just too hard on my mouse. pressing it like there is no tomorrow. especially when raiding in Aion, or doing some boss killing in Tera or WvWvW in GW2.
can't deny.. i press them buttons hard. lol

Chroma is nice. but doesnt that have only 2 side buttons? or the Naga EPIC chroma is the one u meant?

 

any mouse should do. don't need side buttons just click. its faster

 

I got the Logitech G600. It looks similar to that and it works great. I do recommend it. Just don't smash it like I smashed mine XD hard to scroll now

 

Finally a Logi G600 user. THat's great man. if u smashed it and it messed up your mouse wheel, then that must have been one hell of a HULK SMASH. Thanks man.

Nah, I have one of those beds with an hidden compartment under the mattress and you can lift the mattress with a handle from one side. The mouse was hanging in the corner of the seal and when I closed the bed, it smashed the top of the mouse. The mouse scrolls but I can't click and scroll very well.

 

I'm using a red dragon perdition 16400 DPI mouse and my side buttons still work fine
Getting used to over 6000 DPI is hard

 

I got the feeling that redragon failed on me only. Lol.

Ok. I purchased the Logitech one. went on sale with $60 off. so It's a very good deal. should arrive by friday pm.

I don't get why people would buy a "gaming" mouse without extra buttons, shit's so expensive and for nothing. Like the mamba, 180 euro for what? 2 side buttons and wireless that you can find for 20$.
and 16k dpi? mine's sitting on 4400/5600 and default windows mouse settings on 50% speed. Anything above that is way too retardedly fast to be useful for anything other than switching between win and close buttons in 0.05sec

Doesn't work like that, using a mouse without even the basic back/forward ones feels ... incompetent.

 

Because people think more expensive is better. Bigger numbers = much better.

Would you rather buy a 6gb 980ti for 650$ or buy a Titan X for about 900$ that is benchmarked to have a 2% lower rating. (Main thing about the titan is it's VRAM... But who really needs 12 gb unless your trying to run like 4 or 5 screens...

Alot of people will buy the Titan because they think that the Titan is automatically better due to its price.

And slapping double/tripple price on something just cause it's GAAAAMER STUFFS. LEDs won't make it perform any better.

Yes LEDs wont make it perform better. Some people are enthusiasts though and like to have a clean nice case with shiny items inside, don't necessarily have to pay a lot for them though. The most expensive part is the GPU which not everyone needs. AION can run on ultra with a 5 year old card anyway. ROG items are pretty cool though, if one can afford them. I don't care too much about performance since im not doing anything too heavy, but i like my clean case with window panel :x

@Gaming mouse, just get the cheapest known brand with keys on the side ol.

 

I believe store retail value is about 70- 80$? Depending on the store and depending on tax and junk and blah blah blah blah blah

 

since i got Amazon Prime. it went down from 80 to 40. i thought it was 99.99 lmao!. so my bad on 60. only 40. lol.

 

Yea, that is the one I have. Make sure to install the Logitech Software. It allows you to customize the buttons. Techincally, on this mouse, there are about 40 buttons in one config and you can save 3 configurations.
