Hi guys, anyone know any good online co-op games? Here is the list of the ones I played already

    Portal 2
    Trine/Trine 2
    Orcs Must Die! 2
    Left 4 Dead 2
Lord of the Rings - War in the North

Some good MMOs/Multiplayers would also be nice. Thanks

Grim Dawn is going to release Multiplayer soon, it is a better game than Diablo 3. Their multiplayer is co-op.

The Borderlands and Saints Row series have both been my favorite co-op experiences lately. Dead island was good. Other than that and games you already mentioned I'm not sure what else I'd suggest.

Pff please, nothing beats playing Terraria multiplayer with your friends and telling them "DO NOT TAKE THE GOLD OFF MY CHESTS OR IMMA KILL YOU" or arguing about who owns what until you realize you can make piggy banks so nobody steals any of your belongings.

You mean a 1920's retro version of Minecraft with bling bling? Yeah maybe I'd skip that.

    Nobody asked you :)

Anyway Smartik, I used to be so obsessed with Terraria multiplayer D: I used to play it with my friend and his brother and we used to go on missions like "who's gonna bring more valuables to the table by sunrise" or "who's gonna have the best armor first" and stuff like that, it has so many things to do and explore, way better than their newer version, starbound. Never really got into that game even though I legally bought it D:

Imo it's way more fun as the normal version of Minecraft without all the mods cause you can find actual weapons with names and there's many possibilities (won't talk about how jealous my friends got when I got a really rare sword as a drop twice in one day).

Agree, I gave my opinion, can't be sorry if you dislike it.

To add to your experience of Terraria, I would like to say that what you just said there can be applied to any game in the world. You can do endless things in any game, if you have a bit of imagination. He asked for game suggestions, therefore opinions, not rare swords and sunsets.

If this is a "suggestion" thread about games, then it will include opinions, which people will support, or go against. So all I was doing was giving my opinion so Smartik can make up his mind if he wants to try it, or not.

I forgot to add GTA5 to my list. With their new "DLC" which actually bring free stuff into multiplayer, you can literally take about a month or two just exploring the city and what GTA has to offer. As well as that, having an emotional Battlefield 4 campaign, what could be better than shoot some Chinese in the head in multiplayer. If you are into FPS and you would like to have more of a closer feel to who you play with, Battlefield 3 and 4 can both bring you this as their "squad" system is pretty decent nowadays after months of fixing. Also Battlefield 3's Co-op is pretty decent, and you actually unlock some end-game weapons for multiplayer by scoring high.

"He asked for game suggestions, not rare swords and sunsets"..
You really don't know what gaming is.

If you mock good moments like the ones I said and say that "we don't care about these moments, we just want good games", then you really don't know what gaming is all about.

A good game is not about how close the graphics are to reality, or how many manly moments you can find. A good game is about having fun alone if it's solo or having fun with your friends if it's multiplayer. Just because a game is 2D, it doesn't make it bad, and you're just absolutely shallow for automatically saying it's bad just because of that reason. Terraria personally gave me some of the best, most fun, and most memorable gaming moments I have ever experienced.

I guess I should have been expecting that from you though, since you seem to think that a good art piece in photoshop is one that has a thousand layers, and if someone used a couple stock pictures and changed the colors then the outcome, according to you of course, is automatically bad. x)

You clearly did not read the rest of my post but whatever. As you clearly don't even know who I am, of course you can judge me just because I posted something which did not regard you in any way. Go ahead and do that, doesn't make you any better. I was giving my opinion of the games, talked about the experience you can get, not about graphics or how "manly moments" are the best. I spoke about emotions and feelings a game can give you, through pixels, which before, wasn't the main point of creating a video game in my opinion. The games I have played do this. Not just because of graphics, but you get attached to the characters as you play, you start feeling what they feel. Although I am pretty sure I know myself better than you, maybe you are right, I am not a gamer and I do not know what gaming is, but at the end of the day, I had fun playing those games, and that is what matters, not if I am a gamer or not. I play games to enjoy them, not to think of myself that I am a gamer, thank you very much.

And to get back to your little photoshop cussing, I did not mean to say throwing a couple of stock images will result in a crappy piece of art. At the end of the day, art is passion and art is what the artist portrays on a piece of paper, canvas or even on our very screens. Art depends on the artist's mood, feelings and what they believe in. I may not be liked by you, don't get me wrong, that is the least of my worries, I accepted the winners and I felt happy that they have won, I just had a few questions which I spoke out loud. I thought that's why we have forums, to speak our minds out. If you have any more concerns about this topic please feel free to drop me a personal message so we can talk about this privately and not spam Smartik's thread about such pointless topics.

    Thanks.

OH by the way, Dead Space 3 co-op was pretty good, shame I didn't want to finish it because of these exploding witch things that scared me Q-Q Other than that the co-op itself is fun, not to mention that it looks fantastic.

OH how could I forget.. Day Z. That one was pretty good, it's a lot about teamwork (the main point is to survive afterall) and I quite liked it, but of course I quit playing it with my friends because of the same reason as DS3.. I'm a huge scaredycat >.<

And for something lighter and faster.. If you have a group of friends like 5 or so, you should pick up Gmod and play Prop Hunt. Funny as hell :D

Oh yeah, Terraria and starbound are both great as well. I think Minecraft has more longevity because it has no end game. Once you get the best items and beat the bosses in Terraria or starbound it feels like you're done, whereas since MC is 3D, the building possibilities are endless and to me it has more continuity, doesn't feel like it comes to a stop. However I still feel like Terraria and starbound facilitate a better co-op environment whereas in MC I'm more likely to want to do my own thing.

Yeah I guess I played Terraria for a shorter amount of time than I played Minecraft cause it does have an end once you get all the good stuff, but I had so much fun in that short amount of time, I don't think I ever will have as much fun playing Minecraft D:

Just going to make a mental note of this for the next time you mock a games graphics to me when I try to explain that it goes so much further than that.

Yeah, that's why he made me mad with all the "a 1920 version of minecraft, lul not for me" bullshit, cause that used to be me until I realized how shallow it made me and how many fun games I rejected just because they had "bad graphics"

Well, to an extent graphics are a big deal so I can't blame you or him. Still, even with no mods, a game with default textures and blocks as ugly as Minecraft can still be beautiful when the game comes together all at once as you stand from a tower and watch the sun rise and slowly peel back the shadow of night, illuminating the desert, then fields of grass and eventually getting to your vista, while you listen to everything come to life (as the undead are probably in the process of dying)

Its really just the little moments. A game doesn't always need life-like graphics to feel wholly life-like when you immerse yourself in it. You forget the comparison between how real life looks and what you're looking at, because at that moment you feel like you're part of that world, and those graphics are, to you, just how the world looks. It no longer seems odd or ugly to you because you subconsciously accept that things are supposed to look like what you are looking at. The more fun you have playing a game, the more likely you'll lose yourself in it and have that happen to you, so fun gameplay can play a huge role in the success of a game immersing you.

A game is not made for everyone, and I did not "bullshit" in any way :).
I do not reject "bad graphics" games as I don't think it would be fair. Most of the games I've mentioned, started off looking horrible and not having any "last-gen" graphics, for example, Halo CE or even Battlefield Bad Company 2. They were decent back in their times, and still are up to this day, not because of graphics, but because of what they offer both in gameplay and characters. I still play a good Amnesia for example and that isn't for the graphics but for the story and the puzzles. Newer versions of games don't feel...right, they're just feeling like somebody just wants to milk people then move on, and create some historical graphics with some weird scientific named engines, then not paying attention to any gameplay. If I made you mad just because I gave my opinion about a game, then take it a bit less seriously, as I said, we are all different and a game won't be tailored towards everybody at the same time.
