Goodbye threads

What benefits do we really get?(Besides adding a few number to our post counts) By "we" I mean the whole community. Someone saying goodbye probably don't know everybody here. Even Alente/Carl are unknown to ALL players of the server. Recent goodbye threads only rose up to drama(waste of time, instead of improving server moderation)

Not the first time a Moderator, "resigned" and later was revealed that she was advertising another server. There are more stuffs I might have missed.

What does this do good for the server? I know that someone might be somebody else's friend but you can do it on facebook/skype or other ways, I'm sure if you really matter to someone they'd want you where in whatever happens you could still keep in touch?

It's the old well known drama most of the staff members create when they resign. I admire those who just resign w/o making public threads.

We are all expendable in here...There is nothing more to discuss about.

 

Kay, well. First off Morometi never did advertise anything, second off, he is a rather nice guy. And I wish him well with everything.

Not sure what your trying to read into with your little quotes there but the assumed drama is not needed nor appreciated when a good staff member, and friend of mine and plenty of people is leaving the staff for their own reasons.

I don't really understand the point of this post other than to cause some form of speculation and drama as to the reasons that Morometi decided to leave, which I can tell you as being his friend. Has nothing to do with your silly speculations. What another does, has no reflection on the rest of the staff.

Also, with that. Does it matter if someone chooses to say good-bye or not? Well, frankly; if they wish to leave the server, staff, whatever. I find it nice to know that at least some people find it appropriate to say bye. As I am sure there are plenty of people here who will miss him (myself included).

So, kindly. Don't post threads such as these which bait things and are not needed when a long standing and GOOD Staff member decides to leave. Nothing to anyone else who has left in the past, as I can't speak for them or their reasons or what happened with them. But you will NOT Make anything sound bad about Moro, he did his best to help everyone and I for one am extremely GRATEFUL for what he has done for Gamez during his time on staff.
