[Guide] Battlegrounds & Co.

Hello,
As announced previously, we have decided to implement a system of custom Battlegrounds on our servers in order to improve your gameplay experience.

What are Battlegrounds?

Battlegrounds are particular custom events designed to improve your PvP experience on GamezAion.
There are several different BGs with different objectives and mechanics which will rotate during the day (more informations can be found below in this guide).

How to join?

Players can register for Battlegrounds by clicking on special portals spawned in Sanctum and Pandaemonium.
These portals carry the name of the current open BG, you will simply need to click on them in order to register and confirm your registration by pressing "Ok" on the pop-up message.
Some Battlegrounds have particular requirements which will be explained later on.

Type ".bg go" To get teleported directly to the closest open Battleground.

What rewards do we get?

Depending on the Battleground, you will be rewarded with the following prizes:

• Abyss Points
• Bloodmarks (Yes,Bloodmark items are now unlocked!)
• Mithril Medals
• Credits

Available Battlegrounds:

Single Player Battelgrounds

​

These battlegrounds are designed for single playes only.

1vs1:

This battleground is designed for single players who want to prove their abilities against another single opponent.

• Random opponent selection.
  
• Registration required.
• Timed event.

​

Free for all (FFA):

Everyone vs Everyone, the more you kill, the better.

• Min. Players: 2

Survival:

Everyone vs Everyone, the last man standing gets a reward.

• Registration required.
• Timed Event.

Speed (Mount Race):

In this battleground you will have to win a mount race against your opponent. The first one who passes all the Checkpoints and gets to the finish line wins.

Team Battlegrounds
​

These battlegrounds are designed for teams of several players which want to prove their ability against other teams.

2vs2:

This battleground is designed for groups of 2 players who want to prove their abilities against another couple of players.

• Registration required.
  
• Auto-group feature or Premade Group.
• Timed event.

2vs2vs2vs2:

This battleground is designed for groups of 2 players who want to prove their abilities against three other groups made up of 2 players each.

• Registration required.
  
• Min. groups required: 2
• Auto-group feature.
• Timed event.

3vs3:

This battleground is designed for groups of 3 players who want to prove their abilities against another party made up of 3 players.

• Registration required.
  
• Auto-group feature or Premade Group.
• Timed event.

3vs3vs3:

This battleground is designed for groups of 3 players who want to prove their abilities against two other groups made up of 3 players each.

• Registration required.

This battleground is designed for groups of 3 players who want to prove their abilities against three other groups made up of 3 players each.

This battleground is designed for a group of 6 players who want to fight against another group made up of 6 players as well.

These Battlegrounds are designed for groups of 6-12 players who want to prove their PvE abilities against special Boss monsters.

Open World Battlegrounds
​

These Battlegrounds are open to everybody and do not require any registration form.
The main feature of this special battlegrounds is the fact that they are hosted in special World Maps with no spawns and custom features.

Do you want to challange your legion against everyone else on the server?
This is the right place!

Race vs Race:

Join this battleground to fight in a special world map against the opposite faction.

Mix Fight:

Open world FFA-Team vs Team map. Everybody apart of your own group mates will be considered as enemy.

Legion Wars:

Special Event Battlegrounds

Battle of the Gods:

Marchutan and Kaisinel will be fighting in the middle of Silentera Canyon. Your task is to defend the deity of your own race, Kaisinel for Elyos and Marchutan for Asmos.
The fun fact is that you cannot kill the deity directly, but you need to activate Skill Generators, which will allow the God to cast a powerfull skill against its enemy and lower its health.
The event ends as soon as one of the Gods is killed.

Guardians:

The clue of this battleground is to escort the Guardian of your race from one point of the map to another, while the opposite race has the task to avoid this to happen by attacking you and the deity.

6vs6vs6 King of the Hill:

This battleground is designed for a group of 6 players who want to prove their ability against two opposite groups of players made up of 6 players each.
Your objective is to conquer the hill and hold it as long as possible to win the event.

• Bonus Credit Rewards

6vs6 Rescue the prisoner:

The clue of this battleground is to save the captured prisoners of your own race, while the opposite race has the task to avoid this to happen.

Credit-Entry Battlegrounds
​

These battlegrounds require credits to be joined but will also reward you with additional bonus credits in case of victory.

IMPORTANT: These battlegrounds do not replace the normal battlegrounds, they simply spawn close to the normal battlegrounds.

Credit Battleground types:

• 1vs1
  
• Survival

Mechanics:

In order to join a Credit Battleground, you will have to pay a small credit-fee which changes depending on the amount of participants and on the battleground itself. Some battlegrounds require 3 credits to join, others require 100. The amount of credits changes constantly.

As soon as the players enter the battleground, the amount of credits gets removed from their account. This prevents credit loss in case of failed registration or retreat.
Only the winner of the battleground will be rewarded with credits, which will be given to him as soon as the battleground ends.

The mechanics of the battleground itself are the same as the non-credit BGs.

Players can win huge amounts of credits by joining these BGs, if lucky enough.

Notes:

Names, AP Ranking and Legion will be hidden in every battleground in order to prevent teaming up.
The spawn time of battlegrounds changes and is never the same.
Rewards for these battlegrounds are optional and may change during time.

Legion Wars
​

Another new custom feature of our servers are "Legion Wars".
Basically, the Brigade General of your legion can declare war to another legion. By doing this, every member of the opposite legion will be considered as enemy, therefore they can be killed and will reward you with AP.

How to start a Legion War?

The Brigade General of your legion has to type the following command:

.legionwar start "LegionName"

By doing this, a pop-up message will be sent to the Brigade General of the opposite legion, which has to Accept or Refuse the challange. If the opposite Brigade General is not online, the request will be sent as soon as he logs in.

In order to end the War, one of the Brigade Generals has to type the following command:

.legionwar end "LegionName"
Important Note: If the legion you want to challange contains spaces in their name " " you will have to exchange them with lines "_" .

Example: I want to declare war to this legion called "Ari is cool".
I will have to type: " .legionwar start Ari_is_cool " .
