[Guide] Stigma system

I guess it's now actual to mention this part of the game and there could be some daevas that doesn't know how this system works so i made this little guide.
(Most of it is from the official Powerwiki)


Aion's Stigma System allows players to further customize their characters, so that players of the same class are not necessarily identical in their abilities. The beauty of the Stigma system is it adds skills to classes that you would not, or could not, normally have. This brings an element of danger when engaging in PVP battles. You never know what your opponent has up their sleeve.

Every player has 6 normal stigma slots and 5 greater stigma slots. You can check your stigma slots by opening your profile (P by default) and click on the Stigma tab. You can place normal stigmas in the normal stigma slots and in the greater stigma slots too, but you can only put the greater stigmas into the greater stigma slots. On officail you have to do quests to enable the first normal stigma slot and more harder quests to enable the greater stigma slots. On this server you don't have to do it because it will be enabled by default. But by doing the No Escaping Destiny/ Sliver of the Darkness quest to get 500 Stigma Shards.

On official you have to buy it from Auction Hall or farm it from mobs, but you can buy it in the capital. For the normal stigmas you will need kinah, for the Greater Stigmas you will need Abyss points.

Clymene (Sanctum, Protectors Hall)

Greater Stigmas:
Primum Landing/Teminon Landing
Pandemonium/Sanctum (lvl 45 Greater Stigmas)
Gelkmaros Fortress/Ignisson Fortress
Convent of Marchutan/Cloister of Kaisinel (Highest lvl Greater Stigmas)

At The Stigma Tuners You can Equip your Stigmas if you have enough Stigma Shards in your inventory and you have the necesarry prequisite stigmas for the current one.
(like: You will need the Emnity Swap Stigma equipped to equip the Cyclone Servant I greater Stigma)

The Stigma Shard is a mass drop item that almost every mob drops in Reshanta (Abyss) and in Balaurea, but here you can buy it from NPC in the next update. You can check your current number of Stigma Shards in your inventory in the Profile-Stigma tab. To check the necesarry amount of stigma shards use the aion.yg.com Stigma planner


Reminder: Once you equipped a Greater Stigmashard, you can't remove ALL of the prequisite stigmas from your slots till you remove the Greater Stigma.

you say that for example a sorc can equip a dual wield for him to use double sword even his not an assassin?

does the server and votin site already working now?

 

Also each player has 6 regular stigma and 5 (not 6) greater stigma slots. Stigma slots can only be opened and equipped after completing the Level 20 quests for each faction. Sliver of Darkness for Elyos and No Escaping Destiny for Asmodians. You will receive as a reward for this quest 500 shards to help you get started on equipping stigmas.

OMG. do we need only one prerequisite or do we need to complete all of the prerequisite?

 

Yes, you need all the stigmas that are linked with it, you can check it in the Stigma Planner.

 

Each class has 2 stigma trees to choose from. In game, press P --> Stigma--> Advanced Stigma. There you will see the 2 trees to choose from. In order to get the last skill in either of the chains, you must equip all the pre req stigmas shown for that tree.

Yes, as you can see you have only enough Stigma Slots to complete only ONE Stigma Tree

u missed the only important part that i was actually looking for and thats where to get the damn stigma shards xD i know what drops them, i know the drop amount is pathetic

evilset said something bout stigma shards being available for free from the "user control panel" on the website, i looked through the whole thing and cant find it

btw might wanna replace it with the um...correct screenshots? this "guide" shows normal stigmas stuck in the advanced stigma tree and all that. doesnt make it too helpful. might also wanna use the english version of the screenshots
