So I was thinking..

We've all probably played or watched Pokemon at one point or another, so we've all experienced that "Enemy ____ has fainted!" message.

Because of that, a lot of people consider that Pokemon essentially never die. I unfortunately think that is absolutely incorrect.

What happens when you battle a legendary? If you do not catch it, and instead K/O it, it will never appear for you again (at least the static location ones wont, I don't know about roaming)

To me, this implies one thing. You may only attack a pokemon until it faints, but if that pokemon is not in the care of a trainer, what happens to it after it faints? It magically heals? No, it slowly dies of its wounds, in pain, agony, poisoned or paralyzed, burning or freezing to death in a hostile environment.

Survival of the strongest reinforces this, once you've made a pokemon faint you've made it so weak that it has no ability to defend itself anymore, or do things on its own. It can't battle a trainer because its too weak, so it will never be seen, captured and taken to the nearest pokecenter, most likely it'll be eaten by the nearest carnivorous pokemon.

Just keep in mind, that when you fail to catch a legendary pokemon and instead reduce it to a fate of being knocked out, you are leaving a one-of-a-kind, legendary creature of immense power to die because you were not prepared to go the long haul to catch it, and now the world has one less pokemon which will die alone, sad, in its cave or tower that you alone were granted permission to, because you were its chosen one, and you killed it, in the slowest most inhumane way.

I've never played pokemon

 

Um, the only pokemon game i actually remember is the yellow version which i played on an emulator sometime ago. As a kid, i used to have a gameboy pocket though, with the pokemon red, but i don't really remember much anymore.

 

Some of the weapons of the pokemons, wont simple do fainting. I think its simply censorship to the awful truth.



And the evolved pokemons are worthy of battling tanks, I do not think it would also end with only a defeat for you.



Though I do think is way more interesting this way.

 

It is because when you play the game is a censored version of the truth.
When you read Pokemon's Manga, Pokemons actually Die in battle, they get wounds, and Hurts.
Pokemon games and Pokemon The animation (that stupid bullshit) Is just a Version for kids of +4 Y/o. Or else Pokemon the Games would be rated T. And none will buy that shit. It is just Us the Pokemon fans that we started playing em since we were young and we cant fucking stop playing it.
Read some Manga and you will see a Totally different version of pokemon. And you will be 10x10^100000000000000000 Amazed than when you watched the pokemon series at TV (the first season)

Without a doubt, Pokemons could and do die, whether from a battle or other means. Even worse, it is highly speculated some are simply food for humans. Ever wonder how all the "animals" on the show are "pokemon", which means food source for meat can only be from Pokemon. That's why there's certain items like Slowpoke tail, gems (possibly from Starmies), Magikarp as sashimi, and so on.

 

That's not nice.

 

What retardery is this!? There is no way in any of the 7 hells that a fucking beedrill can take on a Lucario! Let alone kill it! This is the most outrageous bullshit I have ever seen!

And yes we have Pokemon in Westeros! I also have a big screen T.V in the Throne Room at King's Landing! Gotta do something in between killing worthless peasants and torturing teenage girls!

 

And how do pokemon breed? they have no genitals.
