Hack Patrol

Event Name: Hack Patrol

Event Description: All players are welcome, event runs continuously whether GM is on or not. Idea is to VIDEO any hackers you come across and post said video here for your reward.

Note: rewards only sent out to successful bans, false reporting will be rejected.

Number of GMs Required: No GM required in game.

Prize Suggestion: Consumables (type and amount determined by GMs), no kinah as gamez is inflated with kinah as is.

Specialty Reward: Special forum tag called Hack Police or Punk Buster for players that catch multiple hackers.

 

Would've won this event already if I'd be skilled enough to instantly pop Fraps and record haxxers

I like the idea, but I don't think it would work as the GM needs to catch the person in the act as well as capture it on their own video to make a ban.

 

I dont think thats right, i others have submitted many many videos of players hacking and they get banned just off our reports.

not a bad idea. Getting the community to be more pro-active about reporting abusers, and offering small yet worth while rewards is a good idea.

Not true. GMs may use the evidence of other users as long as it is solid enough. ^^
