Hackers should get ip ban?

i hate hackers they should get ip banned
so they will stop doing it...T_T

 

i agree but its sadly very easy to change IP just back up computer and restore it to factory settings >.<

There is a way to ban the mac and IP but the true is that they can keep changing IPs...

The only solution is a program that will block hackers and detect their IPs... Most of the hackers are nub kids who like to win and pwn all and then hop on and be proud about it...They got no manners or respect for others so they should learn to respect the art of PvP the hard way

There is only one solution for hackers. They need to Quit by there own. Because you can make some adjustment to the hacker programme so it wouldn't be reconise. And i can tell you i can get 100 diffrent ip bij running a external links to 100 of servers. So ip ban wont work either as wel as for mac address.

Thankfully the majority of "hackers" aren't remotely smart enough to even avoid a simple IP ban.

 

i dont like the idea of the ip ban due some ones play in shared inet (say wi-fi, school, ciber cafe, etc) and the ip ban could push out innocent players.
so i props some kind of community works.. then.. the players of the community will try to catch hackers and the related evidence (screen shots, chat.txt, what ever you have) and then the gm of the game could delete the account.. no more temporal bans.. just delete the account.
if you want an intermediate stage like a warning.. then put off the whole whare-house (account, legion, character) the whole kinah and the whole sets (armors, weapons, accesories) of that account.. i think this kind of action will be a pain in the ass for the hacker and back their level to the half like 25 or w/e (even if they win by a easy way is pretty hard the idea of lose everything) if you catch the account hacking again then delete it.

yeah.. the stupid hackers still can come back with an alt and start again and again.. but maybe after two or three delete or the fact of lose the whole stuff of the character could demotivate.. and this kind of action pretty sure will demotivate future hackers.

is only an idea.. at least in words sounds good ^^

PS: hackers of any kind are cowards that dont have enough courage and brain to go to the war's front line only with their skills and ideas (speed hackers) or simple stupid persons without personality that only know or learn how to steal the works of other ^^

 

Well, for me if IP ban wont work for hackers, why dont the GMs or Admins do a Account/character wipe?

 

It's so easy to make a new account and swap IP. Yes, you ban the accounts, but server side prevention is the only fix, and the problem will never be fixed completely.

 

The server cannot fully ban a user,he still can create a new account and enter again

 

Hackers always get IP bans, unfortunately most IPs are dynamic.
