Hi,

Im new. I played other private servers and the 'f2p' from gameforge, but the last one was awfull. How do they dare to call it free to play.

Aion is made to pvp so i like Gamez for that but I have some questions.

- How can I fastly lvl to 60? (am lvl 40 now, but i have no gear whatsoever)
- How can i get a starters pvp/pve gear? (not the voting stuff, that takes a lot longer). I saw something on the forum about platinum medals, but I didnt understand). If someone explains sets to me, please use the whole names xD.
- How can i earn good kinah for mounts and stuff?

I hope you guys can answer some of my questions.

How To Get Kinah --- Do alot of Quest / sell items on the broker /
How to Get PVP Gear --- Donate / Vote / Kill Elyos or Asmos witch ever race are you kill the opposite
How To Get PVE Gear --- Make a Group or Join and go into instances /
How To Get Enchatments --- Get lvl 50 Gold or higher Clothes or Weapons and extract them
How to Get Easy Platinum Medals --- Lvl up different characters to lvl 55 and you get them by a scroll as you level

Before you try to get any type of PVP gear. Try to get PVE gear and PVP with that. unless you donate to the server and you get full pvp gear.

Well, Hello and welcome to the Gamez community!

To answer your questions:

* Since you're level 40 at the moment, I'd suggest you get a mentor. Use the LFG channel to find one. You can also use this thread HITAKI's AION SCHOOL OF MENTORING to find a mentor. Gear is not really a problem as long as you have a mentor that can take you at least to level 50. When you reach that level, you can go ahead and do the campaign quests in Brusthonin and Gelkmaros to help you get to 60.

* Once you reach 55 you're ready to go to Beshmundir Temple. You just have to look for a group recruiting in LFG channel (use Command Shift + V). The Stormwing set is the most decent PVE gear that you can easily get from an instance in game so far. After the 3.0 update though, most of the instances have been bugged. I haven't checked yet today if the instance have already been fix or something. So in case the instance isn't working yet, you can always farm the mobs in Gelkmaros/Inggison area for green or blue items that you can use for the mean time. Dark Poeta is working too, although you're gonna need a friend or two to help you kill some mini boss in there for some gold (fabled) armor.

As for PVP gear, well, you have to PVP first and get as much AP as you can. The level 55 APP or GPP gear can be purchased with AP and platinum medals. When you hit level 55 you'll be given 10 platinum medals, so you need to save as much of this. You can also purchase some at the broker.

* To earn as much kinah as you can, you have to be really resourceful. What I do, is I farm mobs in Gelkmaros whenever I can (Inggison if you're Elyos). There is a daily kinah limit for items that you sell at the vendor NPCs, which is roughly around 13M kinah. I try to reach that limit whenever I have time to farm. I'd suggest you farm the balaur mobs, since you can also sell the balaur materials that they drop that people use in crafting. The mobs drop manastones too, so always make sure you loot the useful ones. You can always sell the ones that you don't use at the broker or through your private store (press Y for the private store command).

Another way to make kinah is through crafting. Most of the people in game either do Cooking (make foods, beverages, candies) or Alchemy (make potions, scrolls). These 2 professions are by far the most useful in game. Read this link to learn more about crafting.

leveling is easy but u did not say if ur Asmo or Elyos ^^

If ur Asmo like me <3 just do a few of the easy campaigns till u get to 45, then take the first brusthonin quest-instant xp (tip: port to Settlers Campsite or the campaign won't appear) then off to Bubu take quest to kill Old Fang then glide to beach and take lost compass quest. use Nini's gold charm and Berdins amulet whenever u hand in quests to gain extra xp and viola ur close to 55

Easy way for me to get plat medals is make new chars to 55 then delete them, u get 10 medals each time!!!!! I found this the easiest way to get plat medals and APP gear which is not bad.
