Help!? - Anime

Hey guys,

So I have been wondering for a while about the Fate series..
I couldn't find the answer on internet since it was mixed with 100 different answers.
So, which is the first series of the Fate anime?

Do I have to watch Fate/stay night first before watching Fate/Zero?

Most people suggest watching Fate Stay Night first as it can spoil a lot of what goes on in Fate Stay Zero because Night came out years before Zero did and explains a lot of what goes on in Zero.

I personally watched the original Fate Stay Night that came out years ago by Studio DEEN but most people don't like it which makes sense. Chronologically Zero comes before Night so it's up to you.

I would just watch Zero then the new Night adaptation by ufotable that is airing currently.

Cuz I dont get the whole Fate/Zero series

 

The new Night series is just a remake of the original from like a decade ago. It will be similar but it will follow the visual novel that it is based on more closely.

Also the confusion with Zero is that it was written way later than Night which is why many watch Night first. Before Zero came around you here references to the Grail War that happened 10 years prior a lot but you never actually know what happened. Zero clears that up by showing said war that happened, but a little differently that is explained in Night. Zero has a few spoilers that reference to Night which is why many suggest watching Night first.

I haven't seen the zero series yet but I am watching the ongoing night and to be honest, the animation, the art its really amazing and the fight scenes... omg just pure boner.
