Help for tattoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've always seen this type of comment whenever peopl are talking about tattoos... and the reply i always think of is "nigga when you're old and wrinkly you're gonna look like shit either way". Either do it now and you MIGHT (ok you certainly will) regret it later, or don't do it, regret it now and possibly (tho rather not) regret it later.
Never got the appeal to tattoos myself, it's either something cliche like chains, skulls, spiderwebs or wings (bonus douchbaggery points if you have all of those combined in a massive blob on your back) OR it's something personal that nobody will understand and by the 10th time you get asked about it you'll be pissed as fuck and want to scrub your skin off. (HEY ! guise i got the best idea, lemme tattoo the face of my dead child on my shoulder.....which looks like a zombie once actually done on the skin itself)
