How to create a playlist (Now with shiny pictures!)

1. First you will need to head to www.mixpod.com. This is the place where you will create your playlist so you can showcase it on your profile. Make sure that you create an account first here obviously. I will not put up a guide for that as it should be self explanatory on how to create an account. Anyways just select "Create Playlist" at the top of the page. *NOTE* These images are huge which are why they are spoilered.

2. Here's where the magic happens. Click "Add Music" then type in the search box what you are looking for. For instance, I searched up "If These Trees Could Talk" and it gave me a list of songs for them. You can sample them by clicking on the song and listening to it or you can just click the plus symbol to add it to the playlist to the right like I did

3. After you are done adding your songs. Click "Save Playlist" and at the bottom click the green button labeled "Save (Get Code)"

4. This is where you will either need to login with your account or create one if you didn't do it in the first step like I said.

5. Once logged in it should take you to the page in the image below. The highlighted numbers are the MixPod ID you will need to put in your profile to get the songs to work.

6. Now once you have your ID copied. Go back to the Gamez website and click Settings at the top right hand corner. Then in the left bottom corner their should be a link to "General Settings" which is highlighted in yellow in the image below. Click that link and it will take you to where you need to go.

7. In "General Settings" you will need to scroll down all the way to the bottom and their should be a section for Mixpods. What you are looking for is "MixPod ID". Just copy and paste your ID into the area for it. You will also notice sections for customizing your Mixpod's color. Just google "hex code colors" and copy and paste those codes into the appropriate sections to give your Mixpod it's own colorful look. Just click save at the bottom and bam you're done. You should now be able to listen to the music on your profile along with anyone else that visits it.

do you have any ideea why 99% of the songs i'm looking for don't work on mixpod ?

 

if the songs you search don't work try uploading your own. I recommend you to use fileden hosting.

 

I have followed these great instructions and my playlist still isn't working....

 

This guide requires a bit of updating since currently you can set your mixpod like ~ Settings -> Mixpod Playlist -> Playlist ID .

 

Yeah i found it.. it has its own option in the sideboard thing. thank you
